Meraki @ The Woodhouse Farm

Tucked away in a quaint corner of The Woodhouse Farm, Meraki is a unique cottage with 02 spacious rooms, a mini kitchenette and a private dining area. The cottage is covered in a dark brown texture and blends in perfectly with its surroundings. Both rooms have an all-glass front made of large ceiling-to-floor windows so that you never miss a glimpse of the marvelous Himalayas.   At Meraki, one becomes a part of nature itself. The space At just about 45kms from Nainital and 12 kms from Mukteshwar, far away from the maddening crowd of a popular hill station and tucked away somewhere in a quaint little village called Satoli is a gorgeous Farmstay,  with 03 exclusive wooden cottages, aptly called “The WoodHouse Farm”.    As you walk towards the house through a blissful setting consisting of peach, plum and apricot orchards, it almost feels as if you are leaving behind what is real and stepping into a Claude Monet painting: Colourful Scenery, clear blue skies, cotton clouds and virgin mountains for as far as the eye can see. Walk a little further and a striking wooden cottage rises against a backdrop of majestic snow-covered peaks of the Himalayas while another one is hidden amidst trees, colourful flora and vegetable plantations.   As you look around and you will spot Shunya (our Yoga Deck) and Meraki (our 2 bedroom unit) tucked away in a quaint corner facing the majestic peaks of the himalayas Guest access Guests can access the kitchenette, the private dining area and the surroundings. We have fruit orchards and vegetable plantations around, feel free to pluck your own fruits and vegetables. Other things to note More than anything this is a home and we love to host like-minded travellers. -  The services of our staff max till 10 pm. Please make sure you have everything you need before 10 pm. Please share your food preferences in advance with the caretaker. -   Check In Time: 1 p.m.  Check Out Time: 10 a.m.  - Since this is a wooden house, we follow a STRICT NO SMOKING POLICY inside the house. You may however smoke at the designated smoking area outside the house. -  Please note that like any other home in the mountains, we do not have an air conditioner at the property. The Woodhouse has been designed in such a way that there is proper wind circulation if the windows are opened in the afternoon. Besides, we also have some table fans if you feel the need for the same.  - Spring is when the green shoots come out. During summers, the place is full of fruit laden trees and colorful flora. Winters are relatively dry and you wont find much flora during this season but its great for stargazing and snow covered peaks are clearly visible during this time. We might get snow during the end of December or January but it cannot be predicted.
