The space Dark Sky Eco Retreat is a private resort style stay and experience and it is unique. Our guests have exclusive use of the 3 bedroom lodge, bush walks in the flora reserve. Emu Safari and farm tour. Book an optional guided Emu Safari with our electric golf carts. Discover cuddle and pat our hand raised Emus and learn about our sustainable living and farming methods. Sky Watching Adventure Discover Coonabarabran sky watching at Dark Sky Hill Observatory, nestled in Australia’s first Dark Sky Park. Perched at 675 metres with a 180-degree view, our cozy lounge offers an unmatched observatory experience for Eco Retreat guests. This is as much a luxury stay as an incredible experience. Once you make a booking your host will contact you with the various experiences you can book separately. Guest access We will contact you with a map and gate codes and arrange to meet you on arrival take you to the lodge and show you the facilities. We can also book in your Sky Watching and Emu Safari/Farm tour options at that time. There is plenty of onsite parking as the lodge is on our private 80 acre property.
