SAGA HOME is located 2 minute walk from beach. City center, railway station and bus stand is just 5 minute walk from house. There are many restaurants and attractions around. Huge rooftop is a fantastic place for relaxing with see view and breeze. Having fully renovated in 2019, now SAGAHOME has only 9 guest rooms. Every room has private bathroom. There is kitchen, living, dining and sitting area in each floor. Now we offer optional breakfast and dinner for guests. The space This newly build guest house is located just 2 minute walk from beach. This is a four story building, each floor of building has separate access without making interference to other floors. All together there are 9 private guest rooms in SAGA HOME. With renovation in 2019, now all rooms has private bathroom . In Ground floor , reception, dining hall, and kitchen located. There are two guest's rooms also in ground floor. 1st and 2nd floors have spacious living rooms for common use. This is space is ideal for gatherings, watching television, doing your own works and dining. There are 3 guest rooms in 1st floor and 2 guest rooms in 2nd floor. Most exciting place in entire home is rooftop terrace, witch is located in 3rd floor. This is a 800 square feet large space. As SAGA HOME is build in beach side elevated land, rooftop is ideal place for relaxing while experiencing sea breeze. Watching sun setting over western beach from rooftop will be a unforgettable experience. There are 2 guest rooms also in 3rd floor. You have self cooking facility in SAGA HOME. If you decide to do your own cooking, you have to pay just 1$ per day for gas and electricity use. This price is not included in Airbnb booking. Guest's Kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, ,microwave oven, hot water cattle , cutlery and plates. So if you have plans to do your own cooking , this will be ideal place. We offer breakfast and dinner at very reasonable price. Breakfast is 4$ per person and dinner will cost 6$. Breakfast include toasted bread, two eggs, sausage or bacon, fresh fruits, butter, jam, one local breakfast dish and curry, sambal and tea or coffee. For dinner variety of 6-7 dishes will be served with fresh seafood meals. We invite you to try our freshly cooked buffet meals with fresh sea food from Ambalangoda , after that you will never think of self cooking. SAGA HOME is very close to beach. Walking to beach from SAGA HOME is just two minutes. Beach here is unpolluted and less crowded. You can reach Ambalangoda Bus stand, railway station and city center by 5 minutes walk. There are plenty of restaurants, groceries, supermarkets and shops to buy anything you need. Having fishing Barbour and two rivers ,Ambalangoda is a ideal place to experience fresh sea food varieties at very reasonable price. Room 5 Room 5 is located in 3rd floor of house. This is a large room in house. This is a air conditioned room. if you decide to use air conditioner , you have to pay additional 4$ per day. Room is locating next to huge rooftop . Attached private washroom is modern and spacious. There are 2 large windows to this room. This is ideal for young couple. Because guests have to climb staircase up to 3rd floor this may not suite very old people. The room is furnished with modern high quality furniture including queen size bed (60x78 inch), mirror table, wardrobe , and towel rack. Mosquito net and electric stand fan is also provided. All occupants will be provided with free bed linen and bath towels, which will be changed every 3 days. Guest access SAGA HOME is very close to beach. Walking to beach from SAGA HOME is just two minutes. Beach here is unpolluted, less crowded greenish and beach become really wide between months of November to April. Rest of the year beach is narrow and sea become rough with strong waves . You can reach Ambalangoda Bus stand, railway station and city center by 5 minutes walk. There are plenty of restaurants, groceries, supermarkets and shops to buy anything you need. Having fishing Barbour and two rivers on either ends of town ,Ambalangoda is a ideal place to experience fresh sea food varieties at very reasonable price. World famous "ARIYAPALA MASK MUSEUM" is located just 2 minutes walk from SAGA HOME. It is free to visit for all. Another famous tourist attraction " MADU RIVER SAFARI" is just 5 minute drive by tuk tuk. We also arrange boat tours in MADU RIVER for very reasonable price. A Popular temple with Asia biggest lying Buddha statue is again 5 minutes drive by tuk tuk or bus Meetiyagoda Moonstone mines are 10 drive from SAGA HOME There are many Sea Turtle hatcheries around SAGA HOME, there is a small one 3 minutes walk from SAGA HOME. By one hour scooter ride or with tuk tuk, guests can visit to tea plantations, Cinnamon cultivation and Tea Factory visit. You will have free access to Wifi network. Guest kitchen located in same floor will allow you to make your own food and drinks. Guest kitchen is equipped with Gas stove , refrigerator and all need cutleries. Washing machine will take off all your burden of hand washing. Common living space and large roof top will provide ample space for you to roam. Most importantly all these facilities are provided free of charge. Walking to beach will take less than one minute. Popular tourist destination "Ariyapala Mask Museum" is just a 3 minutes walk. Reaching Ambalangoda bus stand, train station , town centre, fish market, restaurants and groceries will take less than 5 minutes by walk. During your stay When i am free from my work, i used to visit SAGA HOME to socialize with my guests. Most often i visit SAGA HOME at late in evening. But 24/7 i will be available over phone, (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), Viber and Airbnb to help my guests.
