The Heavenly Express Train is a unique and wonderful 1910 Glenelg Line train carriage originating from South Australia. This charming old carriage is divided down the middle into two cabins - Eastbound and Westbound - with an adjoining double door. The East Bound cabin is ideally suited for a couple, featuring a Queen bed in a cosy living space heated by a wood fire burner. It also includes a fully-equipped kitchenette, bathroom, and deck area with a breathtaking view of the mountain range. The space Originally built in 1910 for the Glenelg Line in South Australia, the Heavenly Express has been rescued from a life of decay and fully restored, but is no longer a passenger carriage. It is now 2 lovely accommodation units with silky oak interior and a lavish feeling befitting it's age. It is set in a lovely bushland setting, but please be aware that only Telstra will work in the accommodation. Optus is possible on the property if you go for a walk. For emergency calls you can give the owners phone details and a message can be delivered. Wifi via Starlink will keep you connected, with Netflix to chill out to...or just enjoy the birdsong and watch the wildlife from your balcony! Firewood is provided and if you need more you just have to ask. We have a swimming pool and a Wellbeing centre with Float Tank, Hydroxy Therapy, Crystal Light Bed, and Infrared Sauna. Guest access You can park beside the Train so its easy to take in your luggage, food and drinks. There is certainly no passing traffic to disturb you! You are welcome to wander through the gardens and being at the end of a quiet road, it is nice to stroll along the road as well. Other things to note As we are in the bush there is no smoking permitted except at the firepit area.
