Perfect for a few days or a few weeks! The space When you arrive at my stylish townhouse just moments from the heart of Modbury in Adelaide, you almost feel you’re in a bushland setting. Enjoy treetop views across the creek and towering gums as you listen to the abundant local birdlife. Nestled among the treetops you can almost touch the eucalyptus leaves. It's the perfect place to relax with a coffee at sunrise or a G&T at sunset! Please note: As of June 2021, there is some intermittent building work on the vacant land next door (behind a high fence) so there might be some daytime activity. I’ve discounted my rates to allow for any impact this may have during your stay. So far my recent guests haven’t raised any concerns and have let me know it hasn’t affected their stay at all, however I can’t guarantee what may happen day to day. It's an easy 21 min access straight to central Adelaide via regular O Bahn bus service with a 2 min walk to the bus stop. We offer weekly and monthly discounts for longer term stays. You’ll love this perfectly located two-level home for its stylish design and thoughtful features especially the large balcony, ducted heating/cooling, tasteful quirky furnishings, ceiling fans, super fast unlimited WiFi (fibre to premise - Speeds should be similar to 44MB download / 17 MB upload) and high-end appliances. It has everything you and your family or companions need to feel comfortable. Our guests regularly tell us Gum Creek View is one of the best Air BnBs they've stayed in. The setting is incredible, with creek and river gum views, only a short 6 min stroll from Westfield Tea Tree Plaza (a giant shopping, dining and entertainment hub), Modbury Hospital, Civic Park playground and the O-Bahn bus interchange with very frequent bus options including 21 min straight to the city centre. There is parking onsite. There are three bedrooms each with a bed on the upper floor, accommodating up to six guests. There are also two bathrooms and a separate toilet. Downstairs are the separate dining and living rooms, designer kitchen, powder room and utility area. Outside you will find a stylish paved courtyard and entertainment area. Gum Creek View is especially great for nature lovers including mountain bike riders because of its close proximity to Anstey Hill Conservation park (15 min by car), Cobbler Creek and also Fox Creek Mountain Bike Park (30 min by car) which all have great down hill trails. Our garage is perfect for secure bike storage and there is a maintenance stand and hose for bike cleaning. If you prefer calmer trails, there are beautiful tracks on your doorstep which follow along the creek for many kilometres. Linear Park and the River Torrens with beautiful safe trails leading all the way to the city and beach are a short ride away too. The trails are also perfect for walking and there are many playgrounds along the way. Guest access All areas inside the home and outside the home are yours to enjoy during your stay including onsite parking. The garage utility area is also included but is not available for parking. The home and all linen are professionally cleaned before every guest arrives.
