Almost Heaven Treehouse

Nestled on the banks of Big Creek in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks and the Roger Pryor Pioneer Back Country, sits the Almost Heaven Treehouse. This quaint and rustic space is a must visit for those who love the great outdoors. Whether you want to relax in the creek, swim, hike, fish, paddle float,or ride atvs or s x s, this is the place for you!! This cabin is located 6 miles off pavement. The space Rustic and charming and set in paradise, this treehouse is in a must stay location. Treehouse is studio style with queen bed and sitting area. The treehouse will accommodate a twin, full or queen size blowup mattress to sleep 2 additional guests. A camping site is available for an extra charge when you rent the treehouse. Just below the treehouse is an enclosed, hot, outdoor shower. The top-of-the-line odorless composting toilet serves as the bathroom facility and is conveniently located adjacent to the treehouse. Cabin has large deck and a swinging bridge to a smaller deck where you can sit and listen to the creek and watch wildlife. A few steps away is a covered pavilion with power, full size refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker and coffee, electric griddle, crockpot, electric skillet, a two burner hot plate and a charcoal grill, as well as a microwave. The pavilion is also stocked with pots, pans, plates and silverware, spices and all basic cooking necessities like flour, sugar, and cooking oils. LINENS and TOWELS are NOT provided. There is a large fire pit for fires. Just steps away is the beautiful creek with gravel bars to walk, water to swim in and beauty all around! Corn hole, badminton, wiffle ball, croquet, frisbees, and indoor board games provided. Situated between Eminence and Salem, the treehouse is located within 10 miles of three state parks: Echo Bluff State Park, Current River State Park and Round Spring. Alley Spring is 28 miles. Sightseeing places are a short drive away as well as river outfitters for Current River fun! Tree house is in a dark sky viewing area. Bed linens and towels are not provided. Wifi is available on a limited basis. Pets allowed at host discretion w/ a $25 per stay fee . Message host prior to booking!n Guest access Guests have access to the treehouse , the covered pavilion, and surrounding lawn area. Creek access is just steps away. Host lives on site in a rock school house. Cabin is located within the thousands of acres of the Roger Pryor pioneer back country. Other things to note During times of high water, access is limited and will require a different route of entry to avoid the low water crossings. Host will contact guest with specific directions.
