The Blue Lady... A Little Cottage By The Sea

The Blue Lady is the ideal coastal getaway location. Situated in the picturesque town of Peterborough where you can spend time at the many different beaches, play 9 holes of golf by the ocean, fish or hike the scenic coastal walking paths. Our little cottage is a great place to start or end your travels down the Great Ocean Road or begin that trip back to Melbourne. Please note we are NOT the Ritz-Carlton, so please don’t expect that. We are a little old cottage that prides itself on being clean The space The Blue Lady is perfect for couples, small families or small group of friends. This cosy and clean cottage has everything you need for your stay. Close to beaches. Walking distance or a short drive to get your morning coffee or wander the coastal walking paths. Claw foot bath to relax in, chill on the couch with Netflix or sit by the fire pit toasting marshmallows or a quiet glass of wine. Large lawned area for the kids to run around on. Watch the kangaroos over the back fence. We are no longer a pet friendly Airbnb - No pets are allowed. Port-a-cot including baby bedding and high chair are available on request prior to arrival. Guest access Guests have access to the whole cottage including the outside courtyard (picnic table, fire pit) and lawned areas directly out the front and back. There is strictly no access to the Peterborough Studio. Other things to note Peterborough is a small town with limited shops and varied hours. Purchasing supplies along the way may be a good option especially if planning to cook during your stay or if arriving late. Peterborough Studio (which is situated on the same block as the cottage) is our private business. We mainly use this when guests aren’t staying at the Blue Lady. But on occasions we may need to use it at other times. When in use, we park on the vacant block and only access the studio - you will not be disturbed. Reach out if you would like some family or friends photos done, there is many amazing locations to do photos around here. Our place is not suitable for those that are pretentious or seeking a 7 star stay. We pride ourselves on being at a reasonable price point (often cheaper than a dorm at the nearest hostel) We are a family run air b and b, we do our best to keep it clean and tidy. We have many many return visitors which we feel speaks volumes of the place. Our photos represent closely what you can expect, and at times we go above and beyond to meet our guests needs, however unique that they may be. We try to respond to messages and phone calls as quick as we can, but sometimes with a very young family and other full time jobs, we may not get back to straight away, but we always do. Finally, if there is something that you feel is not right, let us know as soon as possible, give us a chance to rectify the issue, and not wait until leaving something nasty in a review for us to find out. If you turn up with more guests than the booking let us know that too, we generally understand that these things happen, and we can change the booking, this one is unfair on our hard working cleaner if more people stay then the booking says.
