Beautiful, bright and very clean 1bd/1bth cottage on 1 acre tropical wooded lot surrounded by towering oak trees. Private, secluded location still only 10 minutes from the beaches of Lido Key or shopping at St. Armand's Circle. The restaurants and nightlife of downtown Sarasota are only 5 minutes away while the award winning Siesta Key Beach is only a 15 minute drive. University Parkway and the SRQ airport are right around the corner. The interior is adorned with charming wood floors, wood paneling and other wooden features. Modern furniture and decor throughout, including microfiber sofa with queen-sized pullout bed. The master suit features ample closet space and a queen-sized Tempurpedic bed that provides the best night's sleep you'll ever have on vacation. Lustrous skylights in every room allow for abundant natural light and create a cozy, warm atmosphere. This 750 square foot cottage sleeps four comfortably. Two beach cruiser bicycles are also available if you like to bike on the beach or in the neighborhood. - Two single person kayaks available for exploring the wonderful mangroves of Sarasota. Kayaks must be transported to the water please see info in the "Other things to Note" section. -Forget something? Shampoo, Conditioner, Face wash, Razors, Toothpaste, Mouthwash, Lotion, Hair Dryer, ect. and many other goodies! Everything is here, just bring your toothbrush and clothes! -The cottage is professionally cleaned after each guest by Over the Top Cleaning and More, a local cleaning company. Be assured you will receive a hotel-clean unit upon arrival. Your cleaning fee truly goes to making sure the cottage is clean and fresh for your arrival. -We love furry friends and allow pets upon request. Please note no animals are allowed on the furniture. Please keep pets off sofa, chairs, and beds. Evidence of pets on the furniture could result in a claim on your deposit. We would prefer pets are crated when you are not home with them. Guest access Our guests are very special to us and we want make your stay as special as possible. All guests will enjoy a package of continental breakfast foods and beverages. Bagels, cream cheese, eggs, as well as coffee and teas. Guests will also be welcomed with a gift basket including a bottle of wine, bottled water, granola bars, snacks, and popcorn to set the mood of pure relaxation for your visit. Other things to note We are dog friendly in most cases since we do allow dogs, however we ask they not be allowed on the furniture at any time for the enjoyment of all our guests and the wear and tear of the furniture. If you feel this may be an issue please bring a crate. We have two single kayaks available for your use and all gear necessary to transport them. If you have an SUV or truck they will both most likely fit in the back with or one in the back and one on top of the vehicle with the transport kit. If you have a regular car please note only one kayak can be transported on top of the car at a time. Guests should be comfortable and able to load, strap, and secure kayaks safely to vehicle. (ratchet straps provided) While we are happy to help if we are available, please note that in the case we are not available guests must be comfortable and able to load on their own.
