Shopping & restaurants are near by for your convenience. 24 hour Walgreens around the corner-within less than a mile. 2-Hospitals are very close to Papa & Grannies Adobe Exterminated on a Regular basis for all NM bugs Bob Reed Pest Control!!! A tall grey locked cabinet with our other supply's!! Home is pet friendly--if your dog makes a mess "wee-wee or poop" inside or outside Clean It Up! "Dispose of their poop"!!! Don't let your cat scratch our furniture or beds!!! Wo so enjoy meeting & greeting each and every guest!!!! We strive to always give each and every one a warm welcome!!! The road in front of the home is not terribly busy-but can get busy. **most (not all) folks are kind & respectful to let you turn in & turn out onto the main road. There is public bus transportation on Main Street, which is approx. 1/2 to 1 mile away. The Golden Rule- Treat our Adobe & property like you want someone to treat your home & property!!! Centrally located in the city 2. Lovelace hospital is less than one-half mile 3. Eastern New Mexico Medical Center is approximately one and one- quarter mile from the home. 4. Walmart and mall are about three miles away 5. Downtown is about a mile away 6. The hot water takes a while to reach the kitchen the shower, due to the routing of the plumbing in the 1800's. 7. There is a dog park about 1/4 mile away 8. The decorative pillows are "for looks only" - place them in the closet "NOT on the floor"!!! 9. The railroad tracks are not very far from the house --"Commerce"!!! 10. Garden Street is at times busy, but generally quiet 11. The walls of the home are Adobe, they are 15-18 inches thick 12. The attic is insulated 13. The home is centrally located to most of the city. 14. Although the furnace is quiet, you can hear the air coming from the vents 15. Leave the lid "up" on the washing machine when not in use & empty the lint basket in dryer after use!! 16. Absolutely "No Smoking or Vaping" inside the house "Or" by the doors-smell travels back inside. 17. Long-Term Guests- Once the toiletries are used up, the guest is responsible for replacement for personal use 18. "No Drugs" "NO VAPING" or "Wild Parties" or "Smoking Inside"!!!! 19. Parents must supervise your children @ all times!!! Do Not allow your children to destroy any of our property items in the home or around the property!! 20.
