Laze around in a plunge pool, snooze away or read a book on a hammock, or explore the idyllic surrounding canoeing, cycling, or walking, the choice is yours. The rooms are quipped with modern creature comforts and accented with _retro_and_eco ambience. The space Two bedroom cottage, rooms are private with separate entry, attached baths, and common veranda overlooking the river. One of the rooms has a personal plunge pool with a sun kissed deck facing the river. The pool is semi open and can be used by all staying in that cottage. Mahogany furniture, palm leaf ceiling, Malabar tied roofs and other subtle details that would take you back to a bygone era when life was much more peaceful Guest access Guests can access most areas on the property barring the main house and the plunge pools if they are not attached to your room. FOOD: Our food is fresh, our produce used is local, our spices are carefully selected and we travel a fair distance to get the freshest seafood and meats. For those not keen to have Kerala food, we will try our best to accommodate non Keralan food options, we will neutralise it but will not to be able to provide non Keralan region specific dishes.  • Breakfast is included. We typically serve South Indian fare, with some toast & eggs to order.  • Lunch and dinner is excluded in the price. However with a day's notice we offer a fixed menu for vegetarians and non vegetarians. Meal includes 3 main courses, breads and/or boiled rice at Rs 650 per head (for vegetarian) and Rs 850 per head (for non vegetarian) + 5% GST. THE TWO BED OPTION This is typically for a family or a group of friends of 3 or 4 people. What do you get? - 1 cottage (2 bedrooms) - 2 bedrooms with king size beds, 400 thread count linen, summer duvets and all air conditioned. - 1 cocktail pool - 2 traditional Indian day beds whose weave is made from recycled plastic. - 1 mini fridge with essential mixers (contents in the fridge are chargeable, rates are published separately) - 1 sun worshipper spot to soak in the sun and 1 shade spot to cool off - Art in the rooms and outside have been painstakingly collected from different regions of India - Lastly, we have two indoor rain showers :-) COMMON AREAS There is a fair amount of space around the property, most wander towards the gazebo with its sheer curtains fluttering in the breeze or dine in the _al_fresco_ dining area on the edge of the river. Tip: the fish in the river do enjoy little pieces of left over egg from your plate. My favourite spot happens to be a discarded bench that I have placed on the rivers edge, a great place to sit and stare down the river with a cup of tea or your choice of poison and a fag (smoking is injurious to health). POWER ( Electricity) The village usually has a good run with power with rare interruptions. On rare occassion(s) we do have an interruption for which we have a back up generator that will power the air conditioning, lights and fans and your hot water supply. KAYAK RENTAL Kayaks rentals are charged at upto Rs 300 per hour per head.
