"The Unit" is a Private self contained space away from the main house at the rear of the Garage. It is cosy with views of the countryside. Located 3 minutes up the hill from Taihape township. The Unit gives you all the comforts of home on your journey so you can relax and enjoy your stay. Taihape is a farming town and with the Main Highway going right through it's centre, plenty of choice for dining out. Taihape is commonly Warm summer and cold winter weather. We cater for both. The space Our property is on the hill above town. Rest assured the ground is flat around the Guest Unit. When you step into the building you immediately feel at home and cosy. The kitchen is well equipped, but not cluttered. The shower has great pressure, the laundry has everything for creating clean clothes. The Queen bed invites you to sleep cosy and warm. The views are of typical NZ Countryside. Being in a country town, the birdsong is beautiful. Guest access We have concreted our steep driveway and we have room for parking two cars or car/trailer and a turn around space All on the flat section at the top of the drive. Entry is Coded, Keyless quick. Larger vehicles like small trucks are able to park at the bottom of the drive. There are no parking fees. There is no EV charging available on the property but you have options in town. Other things to note No pets are allowed on our property without prior permission aside from service dogs.
