A cozy room, furnished with beautiful antique furniture in a Portuguese style villa, surrounded by lush greenery. It is for guests who appreciate style and peace. The space The room, which also goes by the name of Garden Room, is a beautiful double room on the upper floor of Marbella Guest House, with a view over the lush tropical courtyard and the hill behind. It is well furnished with a cane double bed, an antique wardrobe, a colonial style marble coffee table with matching chairs and a writing desk; all set on original Portuguese floor tiles. The room is equipped with an en-suite bathroom, in lovely green and white mosaic tiling. Cable TV is fitted in case you need to catch up on the news and the air conditioning will keep you cool. It could also accommodate a mattress on the floor for an extra guest (Charges apply). This room is considered by many a ‘best buy’ in the Marbella Guest House, a beautiful romantic Portuguese style mansion, where attention was paid to every detail. It is lovingly designed and decorated with an aesthetic blend of colonial Portuguese, traditional Indian and contemporary furniture. The Villa is quiet and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourism trade, yet conveniently close to all amenities. When the building’s reconstruction was finished in 1987 it would have definitely been the first boutique establishment in Goa, but the term had yet to be coined. Guest access You will enjoy the privacy of your room, and you can relax and dine under the old mango trees in the lush green courtyard or sit in the lounge, furnished with authentic Portugese furniture set on original floor tiles. And there is lovely nature all around us, where you can stroll around and enjoy the rich bird life. Other things to note There is a gourmet restaurant offering various styles of cuisine served in the lush green courtyard, or in the privacy of your room. The chefs will be happy to oblige to any personal tastes or health requirements, and only residing guests are catered to, to maintain the peaceful ambience. We are classified as Bed & Breakfast, but we do charge separately for the breakfast, as we prefer the guests to enjoy a wide variety, and not be limited to a standard included breakfast. There is a beauty room, where we take care of the wellbeing of our lady guests, offering facials, manicures and pedicures, and massages.
