Fully equipped with all the basic supplies, this I-bed 1-bath apartment makes the perfect “home base” to exploring all that Siskiyou County has to offer. The apartment itself is small but the nicely decorated furnishings make use of the compact space. This is suitable for couples and singles and is located in an end unit of a single story 4-plex. It is conveniently close to Hedge Creek Falls and Mossbrae Falls. Walk to the waterfalls from the apartment! Keep in mind that route to get to Mossbrae Falls is considered trespassing, so do this hike at your own risk! TV: there’s a 32” smart tv in the living room for you to sign into your Netflix account, YouTube, Hulu and other apps. There is NO cable or local tv lineup. The (500mbps) Wi-Fi password will be provided upon check-in. BEDROOM: Includes a comfortable Queen size bed, clean linen, petite desk and 6’ long closet with plenty of hangers for your clothes. If needed, there’s an iron and ironing board, portable Air Purifier, portable fan, Wall heater. Zone thermostat controlled whisper quiet A/C with heat pump. LIVING ROOM: Includes a sofa bed with a full size memory foam mattress, two side chairs and TV trays. Wall heater. New whisper quiet Thermostat controlled A/C with heat pump KITCHEN: Mountain Spring water comes out of every tap (no chlorine or fluoride added). A couple blocks away a bottling company bottles our tap water. There’s no need to buy bottled water. The city’s slogan is “The Best Water on Earth”. Bring extra water containers to take some water home with you. The kitchen has a dining table, apartment size stove and oven, refrigerator and freezer stocked with breakfast items, snacks and seasonings, microwave, kettle and necessary utensils, plates, glasses, non-stick pan, etc. BATHROOM: There’s is a bathtub with a shower, with mountain spring water from the tap, shampoo, shower gel and blow dryer. There is a heater in the bathroom and ventilation, NOTE: if you are using the sofa bed in the living room you will access the bathroom by walking through the bedroom. You have to wait 20 minutes after a shower for the hot water to regenerate. OUTDOOR SPACE: Thank you for not smoking. There is no smoking allowed anywhere on the premises. There’s a bench and bistro table with chairs for outdoor dining under the shady porch overhang. The picnic table with market umbrella is in a sunny area of the yard. There is also a BBQ and sectional patio furniture around a Firepit. You can walk to two waterfalls, Dunsmuir Botanical Gardens and the Upper Sacramento River with world class fly fishing. Walk to hiking trails including the PCT. Walk to Yaks voted Yelp’s top 100 places to eat in the USA. Electric Vehicle charging stations located at Yaks on the 5. Guest access You have complete access to the apartment with a set of keys. Keys will be found at a lockbox and code will be provided the day before your arrival. Check-in is at 4pm onward and check out is at 10am. Other things to note Dunsmuir is a narrow canyon located on I-5 you cannot escape the noise from the Freeway. We have installed new dual paned windows. Please use the black out roller shades only. Do not adjust the decorative curtain panels.
