Beautiful for a country getaway 10 minutes to McLaren Vale & Willunga and just down the road from Kuitpo forest. Many incredible restaurants and wineries an easy commute. Indoor wood fire & full kitchen facilities and rainwater. Fast Starlink internet. Outdoor deck with BBQ, fire pit, wood fired pizza oven and views overlooking the farm. Peace and quiet. The space Our property is a hobby farm set on 12 acres. The cottage is a newly renovated former dairy with all the conveniences you need for a comfortable, relaxing getaway, set among the trees, overlooking the horses. Spring/summer is sensational on the farm. Fully equipped kitchen and cooking provisions for your breakfast with farm fresh eggs from the chooks. We use low waste, sustainable practises for everything, from rainwater & solar panels, to cleaning & all supplies. Our family home in on the property but quite separate, located 200 meters up the hill & completely independent. We are here if needed but will be sure to have the cottage and surrounds all to yourself. We have horses, sheep, chickens, a rag doll cat and a friendly pugalier cross called Alfie. Guest access Feel free to roam about the property. Please don't go through any paddocks as there is farm animals present. Tony and Alex the horses loves a pat and especially loves carrots, feel free to say hello as they are often standing at your back fence. The nearby dam is fenced from the cottage but you will definitely hear the chorus of frogs from the deck at night. Other things to note Bring a book, feed the horses, light the outside fire or pizza oven (except on total fireban days of course!) relax & enjoy the countryside.
