This home is on a very private and quiet lane across the street from Washington Park. Your front yard is Pasfield Park Golf Course in a unique country setting only five minutes from downtown and the State Capitol. Please note that due to the Coronavirus Pandemic we do not currently allow unauthorized invite parties or gatherings of non-registered guests of any sort. This rule is not meant to preclude HOST pre-authorized visitors such as family and friends. Guests have the entire home to themselves. There are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed. the second bedroom contains two single beds. There is a futon on the lower level that opens into a queen size bed. The home is best suited for one or two couples and a few kids. Please inquire if you need additional adult overnight guests. There is a surcharge of $15 for each additional guest above four. Guests have access to the whole house. The main level has the kitchen with a dining area, a large living room with an open floor plan, full bath with shower, and two bedrooms. The house has a walkout lower level which includes a large den with a queen size futon, laundry, a large bath with shower, a screened in porch patio area and outdoor sitting area. There is also a multilevel deck which overlooks the back yard that includes a gas grill and outdoor dining area. We live next door but love meeting new people. You can have a perfectly private stay, but we are usually available if needed. You will be just a couple hundred feet from Washington Park and can enjoy the nightly carillon concerts. The park is perfect for walking and biking. It also contains a Botanical Garden, trout stocked fishing lakes, playgrounds and frequent outdoor concerts and events. If you enjoy golf, you are only footsteps from the historic Pasfield Park golf course, the oldest in Springfield. The Lane is a private drive and there is off street covered parking for 2 cars. UBER is available and usually less than five minutes away. We have a strict policy of no pets and no smoking. Also we do NOT allow the hosting of unauthorized parties for non-registered guests, this includes family gatherings, reunions dinner parties, etc. This is on a private lane, so we ask that you respect the neighbors privacy in regards to these policies and noise and parking. Please drive slowly and do not block the lane.
