Chantal - great value central apartment for 8!

Apartment Chantal, run by Mountain Highs, boasts an excellent location, close to the centre of Morzine, in full sun overlooking the river Dranse, with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. From the dining table you can watch all the activity on the Pleney mountain through the picture window! MULTIPASS Member Summer 2025 The space This warm and comfortable apartment has plenty of space for 8 people – whether a large family or a group of friends. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms over two levels, a modern kitchen, and two parking places (see below). There are clothes washing and drying facilities, warm ski and boot storage, and a lift within the building. It’s only 5 minutes by foot from the front door across the footbridge to the SuperMorzine lift, and 5 minutes’ walk down to the well-stocked Carrefour supermarket and several bars and restaurants. The swimming pool complex and ice rink are also just a couple of minutes’ walk via a short cut accessed through the building. On the main living floor, there’s a king bedroom, a bathroom with bath and overhead shower, a WC, the kitchen, and open-plan lounge / dining room with two sofas. Down an internal flight of stairs are a shower room and separate WC, a double bedroom with balcony access, and two good-sized twin bedrooms. All bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe space. The lower floor has its own separate entrance, accessible from the lift and central staircase. The apartment runs on a Sunday changeover in high season and is available for long weekend bookings (min 4 or 5 nights) in low season. Please note, for summer guests, there is no garage or enclosed bike storage - you may bring bikes down the external (private) staircase and store them on the lower front balcony out of sight, it is recommended that you bring locks to lock bikes to the railings however. Please note: the car parking spaces were laid out 40 years ago and are suitable for standard sized saloon cars, not extra long estate cars or vans. Guest access The apartment is entirely yours - you don't share any parts other than the main entrance hall and staircase and lift. BIKE PASSES Summer 2025: The PDS bike pass for 6 days costs €204 per adult, €153 per child aged 5 – 15, and €183 for "youth" (ages 16 - 25) if you buy them at the lift pass office. We can obtain passes for you at a discount of 7.5%, i.e €189 per adult and €141.50 per child, €169 ages 16- 25. You will need to book these in advance of your stay – you can pay for them by card or bank transfer in advance, or cash on arrival. After booking I will be able to send you links to the bike parks of Morzine and Avoriaz and also timetables of the summer lifts. Minimum 3 days, maximum 13 days. Other things to note IMPORTANT: DAMAGE DEPOSIT. We take a €300 Damage Deposit prior to your arrival. This can be paid via credit / debit card or bank transfer (Revolut preferred). We refund this deposit within 3 days of your departure. It is also possible to pay by French cheque. We will hold the Damage deposit until we have received the keys back and have been able to properly check the property. Please note the deposit rises to €500 for summer mountain biking groups and at our discretion. Please note, for summer guests, there is no garage or bike storage. You can however bring your bikes down the external private staircase and store them on the lower front balcony out of sight from above or below. In Summer there is a cleaning charge of €80, payable on arrival in cash. Please note that if you are intending to bring a pet, you MUST ask us before booking, as we have certain conditions that you must agree to before you proceed to book.
