Please only book this listing if you love cats and are not allergic. Please DO NOT LET THE CAT OUT! The space This is a private house in a neighborhood walking distance to town. Brand new kitchen, flooring, and interior painting as of June 2023. There is a large kitchen living area with a dedicated work space with two large desks and the fastest Wi-Fi available in this area. Great for digital nomads. There is also an extra long trifold futon in the main room for an extra guest. Additionally, there is a full bath, W/D + Queen bedroom with organic futon mattress. This is my personal home. I keep it clear and simple to be able to share with guests. The second bedroom is off limits and will remain locked. I will NOT be here during your stay and you will have FULL PRIVACY inside the house with the exception of daily visits from my catsitter to care for the feline resident, Nefertiti. Please take note that this listing is only for cat lovers as there is a cat who lives in the house. CAT CARE: Nefertiti the cat is a cherished member of the airbnb residence. In addition to being a mouser, she is an energetic protector and blessing presence. My catsitter comes once a day to feed her and change her litter which is enclosed out of sight in the bathroom which she enters through a cat hole. SO PLEASE KEEP BATHROOM DOOR OPEN. She loves cat loving company but scares easily and likes affection only on her terms so please be sensitive with your feline roommate! VERY IMPORTANT- There are predators here- coyotes. Please DO NOT let the cat out! She is only allowed out first thing in the morning via her catsitter before being fed. ALSO IMPORTANT- there are bears. Please compost far away from the house. DO NOT leave food in your car or in the trash. All food needs to be composted away from the house. Otherwise the bears will get into the trash! Guest access This is my personal home, however, I will not be here while airbnb guests enjoy the space. I travel while I have guests. Other things to note There is brand new flooring as of June 2023. Please do NOT move any furniture to avoid scratching the floor. Summer time in Crestone is bear season! Don't leave food in the car. Compost your food away from house and be trash aware. Trash pickup is Tuesday morning for trash. Bins are in the driveway and don't need to be moved. The trash man will pick them up directly. Nefertiti the cat lives on the property. A catsitter comes daily to care for her.
