*Please read our complete house rules and notes before booking!* The log cabin offers proximity to nature and relax in the middle of the Black Forest! Our log cabin with 110 sqm can accommodate up to 16 people, has an original wood stove for cooking, beautiful bed boxes made of wood, 60 sqm view and relax deck and much more. Please note that no parties are allowed here and "up to" 16 people can be accommodated. The space Do you love nature and are looking for an extraordinary location for your friends or family in the middle of the Black Forest? Our log cabin Flößerhaus could be the right location for you! The log house Flößerhaus can accommodate up to 16x people with sleeping space extensions of 2x camping beds and 2x folding mattresses. Our log cabin was built from local wood from the Black Forest and is located directly on the outskirts of the idyllic village of Schenkenzell. Over the years, the Flößerhaus has been increasingly modernized and now includes modern rustic interior design and lighting: We are particularly proud of the retro-style living room and kitchen lighting, which underlines the charm of the location (more pictures will follow). Furthermore, there is a basic stove in the basement (the wood for it is located below the terrace), which provides cozy warmth, a fully equipped kitchen incl. Dishes, glasses, cutlery, a large refrigerator (with freezer function) and a kettle. Two people can stay on the lower single beds of the rustic location. The Flößerhaus is ideal for nature-loving and quiet bachelors (JGA events), short trips with friends or family. Guest access If you arrive later, this is absolutely easy thanks to our "independent check-in"! You can easily check in with us from 4 pm, because you can enter the house independently of us hosts via a key safe. Please let us know your approximate arrival time for better planning, thank you. Please note the additional information about self check-in in the arrival email, which will be sent 7 days before arrival (check your spam folder if necessary). All we need is your email address! Other things to note Use of the listing: So that you feel completely comfortable, we will provide you with our premises and inventory for your stay – of course for careful use. If something breaks during your stay or if you notice a defect, please report it to us immediately via one of the contact routes – thank you! Further instructions and instructions can also be found in the house folder as well as in the corresponding places in the house. Quiet times: The legal quiet hours must be strictly observed. After 10 pm, please keep windows and doors closed. Music systems may generally only be used indoors. Even if you are here in the middle of the Black Forest, noise is transmitted very directly to the surrounding neighbors due to the small as the crow flies. Therefore, enjoy the absolute peace and relaxation in the harmony of nature! Cleanliness: When leaving the vacation home, the house must be left swept clean. This includes all the premises, objects, and furniture that have been used. The same applies outdoors. All furniture, as well as barbecue, etc. must be put back in place. Basically, we recommend bringing slippers with you. Please always treat the furnishings of the apartment as if it were your own home :-) Kitchen and its utensils: In the log cabin you can cook on both the wood stove and the induction plate. Depending on the temperature in the log cabin, additional heating can be done with the stove. There are all the utensils for cooking, and you are always welcome to take a closer look at the current amenities list on the listing or on our website. When using the wood stove, please be sure to observe the rules of the house folder on site - thank you very much. Note: Absolutely only wood may be burned and only use lighters to light it! Self check-in: With us, check-in is completely independent with the help of the key safe. You will receive the arrival information email from our booking system a week before your arrival. Here is the address and code for the safe, as well as further information. Things to Note: - Please send us your email address in good time so that it can be stored in our booking system for the arrival email. - If the arrival email does not arrive directly in your mailbox 7 days before your arrival, we ask you to check your spam or junk mail folder. If there is nothing here, please contact us immediately. Note on linen/towel package: The following description applies to new booking closures from 01.04.2025. For previous reservations, the service package booked there still applies - i.e.: No sheets/towels included! (Other pricing!) On the upper floor are the "dormitory", which has two box bed rows opposite each other, which offer sleeping capacity for up to ten people. Another two sleeping places are on the ground floor. The duvets, pillows as well as linens and towels have been included in the price since 04/01/25. However, we ask you to obtain them yourself for hygienic reasons. When checking out, please strip the bedding again and collect it in a pile. Please leave the mattress covers on the mattresses – thank you in advance! For your brought bedding, blankets measuring 135 x 200 cm as well as pillowcases in size 80 x 80 cm (some 40 x 80 cm if necessary) are required. Guest reporting obligation: Each travel participant must be registered with us prior to arrival (with the appropriate dates). Short-term participants are urgently required to avoid fines from the government. Tourist tax/cone card: With the tourist tax, the privileges of the cone card of the respective tourist association are financed. In order to receive this tourist card printed on thick paper, we kindly ask you to inform us no later than 7 days before arrival. The Konus card is generally prepared free of charge on request and stored on site, which then only has to be signed by you for the validity. The tourist tax is charged per night/person depending on the municipality. Internet access via Wi-Fi The apartment has a Wi-Fi router. Feel free to use our own network - you can find the access data in the arrival email as well as in the house folder on site! Waste disposal: Only garbage that has been properly separated will be disposed of. So please separate into residual waste, paper, used glass and yellow bag. We will be happy to dispose of the yellow bags and the paper waste for you free of charge. We only ask you to dispose of the old glass yourself (you will find an old glass container at the train station in Schenkenzell). We will give you a blue 60-liter garbage bag for the residual waste free of charge for each stay. If you produce more residual waste, you can dispose of the remaining waste via the orange "Gemeinde-Müllsack" for a fee of 17 EUR or take the rest with you. Smoking/outdoor space: Smoking is expressly prohibited in the accommodation and may therefore only take place outside the building. Smoking is allowed outside, but not on the terrace due to the risk of fire! Please dispose of the cigarette butts properly in the trash can, thank you. Outdoor sauna: The in-house sauna is located outside the log cabin. If you have booked them, you will receive a corresponding user manual for this. Due to the legal quiet hours, sauna use is not allowed after 22:00. Please leave the sauna in a clean condition so that it can continue to delight other guests in the future – thank you very much. Barbecue: Due to the forest fire protection regulation, an electric grill plate is available in the group accommodation for grilling. Always clean thoroughly after use. Parking: There is no parking on the log cabin itself. For loading and unloading your car, you can drive to the log cabin. Ample parking is located below the log cabin opposite the castle. Address: Stockhofweg 7 If these parking spaces are occupied, you will find more parking around the corner towards the main road. Please do not park in the neighbors' parking spaces and also not on the sidewalk - this can lead to difficulties and complaints! Info for dog owners: In general, you can book your dog, if necessary, register it directly at the time of booking or up to 7 days before arrival. Important: The dog is only allowed to stay on the floor, you are welcome to bring your own accessories. Important note about the toilet: When building the log cabin, a toilet/bathroom could be planned, so each group may decide before booking whether this is feasible for them. The demand is often from even larger groups (+12), which then expand with camping beds, etc. All a matter of perspective and handling, everyone as they want.
