Hofu: Guesthouse with a mountain breeze

This is a 2 storey single family home in a quiet town. We a family of 3 (many more if you count our beloved bird, Haru, & plants!), 90 year old grandfather, mother & daughter. We have a room on the 2nd floor available for lodging. High speed internet/WIFI is available all around the house. There is space available in the car port for 1 more vehicle although JR's Akama station is only a 10 minute walk from the house. We can also pick you up &/or take you to & from this station if you ask us! The space We have a mini refrigerator, electric water kettle, rice cooker, & cups/plates so you don't have to make the trip downstairs. The available room is a corner room on the 2nd floor with big windows facing south east & slightly southwest allowing you to an amazing sunrise. Depending on the season of your stay, sakura, fireflies, beautiful birds (including the famous Kingfisher), & beautiful rice field blowing in the wind can be seen from this room & the unique panoramic window in the dinning area. With the small river right next to the house, the rice fields, & Jou (castle) mountain within walking distance the surroundings of the mildly rural area you can have a relaxing & re-energizing time! Other things to note We try to live as sustainably as possible, which means being mindful of waste. We would be incredibly grateful to the people & travelers that are conscious of the environment! We ask that you make sure to pack & bring your hygiene products, etc. with you, however, we understand that, sometimes it's easier said than done. There fore, we have them in stock for an low price and the proceeds go to a local environmental organization! Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. They are also available at nearest convenient store. Closest to the guest house is 3 minutes away walking or, if taking the JR train, there is a convieniant store located inside Akama station. ^-^ Registration Details M400028337
