Purple Homestay (Hill Side)

Purple Homestay Hill Side is located along the main road slightly outside of the center of Coron Town Proper itself. The homestay offers everything from a great view of the bay (especially sunsets), to a great natural atmosphere in the green, and is enriched with beautiful art by local artists. The Homestay is very accessible and within walking distance of the port and town center. The Homestay consists of two houses with a total of 4 secure private rooms. The bathrooms and kitchen are shared. The space What makes our homestay very special is the location, not only being very accessible from the ferry dock but also being located above the rooftops of the neighboring houses, allowing a full view of the bay. And of course beautiful sunsets! We also value handcrafts and art, so our home is decorated with crafts and paintings from local artists. As mentioned in the introduction, Purple Homestay consists of two buildings. Each building has two spacious rooms. The rooms are decorated with traditional weaving art and healthy local and natural building materials which allows for a comfortable climate. Two of the rooms have air conditioning and the other two rooms have electric fans. We have sitting areas around the property that allows you to retract with your book or laptop to spend some time on your own or simply enjoy the gentle swing of the hammock. We do care about the environment and therefore we segregate waste. Further, we do provide soap/conditioner in dispensers in our showers, so no soap sachets are needed. Note: We do have on-site staff who is there to make sure that the place is clean and everything is functioning. Further, they are ready to help you organize things like trips. They normally stay on the property and have their private space. IMPORTANT: There were guests in the past that did not understand that there is staff on site and would have rather wanted to be alone in the place. In case you would like no on-site staff, please make sure that you tell us this when you are booking. This way we will be able to make arrangements. Nearly all our guests enjoy their company and help though. Guest access Our guests have access to all public areas, be it the hammocks or the BBQ and kitchen area, all are there to be used. We also have refrigerators with freezers where guests can keep their foods and drinks cool and fresh. Other things to note Purple Homestay is located on the hillside of Coron, so you will have a view over the Coron bay. This also means there are a few stairs to take, to reach the property. The pathway is natural and shared amongst the neighbors of the area. We do offer additional services and help with the following: Breakfast: We happily prepare you breakfast, especially for early-day starters. We offer pancakes or omelets. Please ask our staff and they will make sure you will enjoy. Breakfast is not free or included in the booking, but available as a service. Massage: You can arrange an appointment with our staff to get a massage in your room. The massage therapists are from an outside spa and not part of our homestay. Prices depend on what you personally order in. Private Island Tour: We can help you arrange private island tours. This can be a one-day tour or an overnight on a private island. There are many options and the best would be to plan the tour with the tour operator. The tours are planned and paid to the tour operator. Price varies on your tour options. Scuba and Free Diving: We know the people to trust when it comes to scuba diving or free diving around the Coron islands. We can arrange your diving trips so you can explore the underwater paradise! Snorkeling Gear: We have snorkeling gear that you can rent to explore the coral reefs.
