Enjoy the cool mountain air while staying in our farm house nestled amongst gently swaying, fragrant fruit trees. We are located at the foot of Mt. Talinis, in the town of Valencia, Negros Oriental, just 20 minutes from Dumaguete City and the airport. This is a very comfortable, well appointed vacation house that can comfortably fit a big family or group of 8 people or more! The house is situated in an orchard of exotic tropical fruit trees (rambutan, lanzones, mangoes, durian, jackfruit). There is an open-plan kitchen, dining room and balcony. Enjoy the cool mountain breeze on the balcony or in our gazebos that overlook a fish pond. Take a cool dip in our pool with a landscaped waterfall. This is a great house to relax in. We have 3 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. All bedrooms have a view of the orchard. You are welcome to use the entire house and the adjoining gazebos. My staff will attend to you personally. I am also available through the Airbnb app. Mostly you will be on your own but you can message me anytime. Do let me know if you would like to hire a cook to prepare your meals. There are many lovely sights in Valencia to explore. Resorts nearby are within walking distance. Valencia town center is 1 kilometer away. There are a few continental and Filipino restaurants. Dumaguete city is 8 kilometers away and most restaurants and coffee shops are within driving distance. Some of the sites in Negros Island that you'd like to visit are: Apo Island -for snorkeling with the turtles, Oslob - for swimming with the whale sharks, Casaroro falls- if you enjoy hiking, and a lot more. We can provide airport transfers upon request. Should you plan to visit nearby towns, I suggest you rent a van with a driver. I can help you with this. Since the house is situated in a farm, you may expect a visit from our resident gecko. Not to worry, it is harmless and in fact, works hard to keep the bugs at bay! We also experience occasional power outages, as with the entire town of Valencia. This is beyond our control. In the event of a power outage, the emergency lights we have provided will turn on automatically. The power usually comes back within an hour or so.
