Bungalow by the River Amba

Bright and airy bungalow by a perennial river. A large hall that divides into 2 bedrooms with attached baths. A large verandah and a gazebo overlooking the river to hang out. The river's safe to swim in. Plenty of bird life and greenery around. The monsoon's here and it's the best time to visit. The space There are only about 25 bungalows in this property of over 200 acres. It's a lovely getaway a couple of hours from either Mumbai or Pune. The bungalow is situated on a one acre plot by the river - with direct access to the river. There are 2 king size beds + 2 cots. It's ideal for 2 couples + 2 children. Guest access Nothing's out of bounds except the owner's cottage, which is separate from the bungalow. Other things to note The power goes off sometimes but we have emergency lights. It might still be a good idea to carry your own torch. We filter and drink the water from our borewell but you might want to carry your bottled water. Most things you might need are available at Pedli village, 3 km from the gate. There are a couple of places to eat a few kilometers away, but Ramesh is an excellent and creative cook. If you'd like to eat in, please speak to Ramesh and pay him directly for your meals.
