Main Street King Bed Suite # 6 with balcony, kitchen with stove top, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, silverware, dishes, pull out sleeper sofa, linens, free wifi, cable, dining area, work area. Center of town near beach, post office, restaurants and shopping. Near Olympic Ice rink, Ironman start, whiteface mountain, ski jumps and hiking trails. With this location being next to the big parking lot you can park your car and not have to move it. Below the suites are Soul Shine Bagel. The space These suites were built in 2016 July. The king bed in the master bedroom, balcony over looking the mountains, walkin closet, linens, stock bathroom with towels, washcloths, soap and shampoo. Ceiling fans in bedroom and living room, sliding screen door in master and screened window near dining table gives a great cross breeze. Kitchen has automatic drip coffee maker, bucket kind, full size fridge and freezer, dishes, cups and silverware, dish soap and dish towels. Small desk for work space, flat screen TV mounted on wall in living room and on dresser in master. Dining table for 4, pull out sleeper sofa with linens, comfy chair in living room. designated parking spot. Guest access Guest have access to entire suites as each is their own rental. Other things to note **Northwoods inn is now the Grand Adirondack Hotel. We share the parking lot with the hotel. We try our hardest to cone off parking spaces for our guests. However, guests of the hotel/locals do occasionally park in our spaces. You can park in any open space in the lot. November 1 to April 30 street parking is prohibited. Street metered parking year round is 8 am to 8 pm. You will have 1 flight of stairs to walk up. All suites are in the 2nd floor. We share the parking lot with the Hotel. Being the closest suite to Main Street, you might hear the noise from the street and the big parking lot if you have the sliding glass door open. With your parking space, you can easily park your car and not have to use it for 90% of the activities. Use the free shuttle around town, uber is available, lyft is available. Being on Main Street you can possibly hear noise from the street, bar and parking area across the street. Student Workers are on the first floor during the summer. I have no control over this noise. Ironman Race day - many roads in Lake Placid are closed to vehicle traffic. Several parking lots and shuttles are available to get you where you need to go. If you find yourself in Lake Placid on IM stop in IM Village and cheer the competitors on. Consider being a volunteer next year as we can always use more people. There are many activities that Lake Placid offers that are truly unique. Passenger rides on the bobsled or luge, lacrosse camp, hockey camp, skating camp, Olympic athletes train and live here and we see many of them. The Ironman start and interchange area is about 1 block away. Mirror lake only allows non-motorized boats. Plenty of boat rentals on Mirror Lake, SUP boards, (Summer ONLY) During the winter LP offers tons of activities on Mirror Lake - dog sled rides, skating loop, hockey rings on the lake, cross country skiing.
