Explore the property & help yourself to fresh eggs, fruit & veggies, freshly ground coffee & a sample of our favourite local beer. You'll never want to leave! But if you do, it's a 5 min stroll to the nearest cafe or Barwon river, 5 min drive to the CBD & we are surrounded by incredible beaches, wineries & the amazing Surf Coast! The space Hidden amongst the trees, our secluded and private property gives you a chance to slow down and get away while still being in central Geelong. The stunning views over Barwon River, Skilled Stadium and Geelong CBD show just how amazing this location is. It’s peaceful, relaxing and really is the dream mix of country and city. Other things to note At Franklin’s place we try to live as sustainably as possible. You will love our eco-friendly products, reusable coffee pods and our minimal waste approach. In 2023 we plan to install solar panels and a water tank to compliment our electric vehicle charging station, eco alliance hot water system and home compost. Anything you may need to make your stay more comfortable please ask... porta cots, high chairs, baby sitter, an extra mattress, you name it. We love our food, coffee and beer/wine and getting out and about so if you are looking to explore make sure you ask if you need recommendations! Please note: the single bed in the living room is a day bed which can comfortably be made into a bed at night for a child or small adult. See photos.
