Oak Gully in Lima South

Lima South and Oak Gully are a great place for a quiet weekend getaway. A comfortable, self-contained flat with full kitchen, living&bedroom with double bed. We are a dog friendly host (unfortunately we have decided to not host cats) We are perfectly situated between Mansfield and Benalla. Mountainbiking and bushwalking, right at the doorstep or explore the wider area. 2km from Lake Nillahcootie. 50min from the base of Mt Buller. Benalla and Winton Raceway are 25 and 30mins away. The space We love where we live. Beautiful bush with spectacular granite boulders is 100m from the back door. There are extensive trails for exploring. Great for walking or mountain biking if you are more adventurous. Try making your own wood fired pizzas, the oven is at your back door. If you are keen to cook some pizzas ask us for further information. There is an additional charge of $15 for the firewood or $35 including the firewood if you would like us to light and manage the fire for you. We are always happy to offer helpful advice on the best cooking techniques 🙂 Guest access Bushwalking and Mountain biking are right at the back door with our property being on the border of the Strathbogie State Forest. Lake Nillahcootie is less than 3km away for boating, swimming and fishing. Our garden is home to a large variety of birds and the local environment is home to the many native animals, especially echidna, kangaroos and wallabies. We also see koalas from time to time. Other things to note We are a NO SMOKING venue. We ask guests to refrain from smoking whilst staying with us. We are 30km from both Mansfield and Benalla so it's best to get your supplies on the way. All members of your hosts family are fully Covid19 vaccinated.
