West Wing of Secluded Farmhouse w/ Glorious Views

Owl's Retreat is the two story, self contained westerly wing of our secluded farmhouse surrounded by farmland. It is full of character with stone walls, oak beams and a large cathedral window in the master bedroom. There are far reaching views throughout. It is the perfect base to explore North Devon countryside & nearby Cornwall beaches. Come back, relax and unwind, enjoy the sunset in the garden or a movie in front of the log burning stove. The space Owl’s Retreat is a recently built extension connected to the original 19th century farmhouse via 2 doors upstairs & downstairs which remain locked, ensuring the wing is self contained. The upstairs master bedroom suite has a 4 poster, super king sized bed & sumptuous ensuite bathroom with separate bath and shower. There is also a small single bedroom. The living / dining room has a wood burning stove, a double pull out sofa bed and double doors leading to the garden. There is a small but fully equipped kitchen & wet-room with shower. Wifi is available throughout and there are large screen televisions connected to Sky, Netflix & Amazon Prime in the living room and master bedroom. We are located at the end of a long drive and the house is secluded with far reaching views of open countryside and beyond. Guests have an enclosed garden where they can relax and barbecue. Guests are also welcome to enjoy a game of boules or croquet in our large south facing garden. We operate a small holding and have dogs, chickens and other animals in a 3 acre paddock which guests are welcome to explore. Guest access Due to our rural location, a car is essential. There is ample off street parking right next to the door to Owl's Retreat in the courtyard surrounded by beautiful stone barns. There is a key box that allows you to check in at your convenience. Other things to note Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome, but they must stay downstairs and off of the furniture. We are happy to provide dog beds, bowls & towels.
