Women guests only. We've a cosy spare room (2.8 x 1.8m) on the garden side of our family home, and a spacious guest bathroom with shower. Real coffee & tea (& lots of herbal teas) are available the kitchen. The street is a peaceful, quiet family street, but close to the hubbub and transport links of Shepherds Bush. We've great local cafe's. We both work from home. Lock on inside of door only. We don't do breakfasts. The space Our guest room is on the first floor and located at the back of the house. The room is quiet with no traffic noise and a selection of books for you to browse. It has a built in single bed (6 foot only as opposed to 6ft 3inches), with a feather mattress topper, 100% cotton bedding, two windows, a radiator and a desk, it's warm and cosy, you are guarranteed a great nights sleep. The guest bathroom has a shower, W.C and sink and big towels and is for guests only. We airbnb generally one room. Ours is a typical London Victorian family home. The house is located in a quiet tree lined street moments from the hubbub of Shepherd's Bush with its market and independent eateries and the convenience of Westfield shopping centre with its myriad of shops and restaurants. Portobello Market and Nottinghill Gate are two tube stops away and the West End is only 9 minutes from Shepherds Bush by tube. Coffee or tea, is available for you in the kitchen. Guest access Please come anytime from 4pm and check out is 11am. Bags can be left by prior arrangement. Guests have access to their bedroom and bathroom and can use the kitchen to make hot drinks or eat a takeaway or breakfast, feel free to sit in the garden too. Please be aware, during the day I work from home in the kitchen from 9am. No food upstairs please. Guests staying a week or more can do one wash per week in our machine. Otherwise there is a local launderette and a dry cleaner very close by. We like access for your room to be cleaned and your sheets changed once per week please. During your stay We will aim to always be here to greet you, and have a chat about your stay, answer any queries, help in anyway with your plans or tips on places to visit.. Other things to note Please note the bed is only 6 foot as opposed to 6ft 3 inches in length. In your room is a little book of useful info such as the wifi code, taxi numbers and a few suggested restaurants. We expect guests not to work from home here or spend the entire day here as myself and my husband work from home already so need a quiet house during the day.
