Modern hotel amenities such as in-room TV or air conditioning are not available, but there is a fan. Wi-Fi is only available in the common areas. The farm offers an agrosteria/wine shop open on weekends and sells natural wines and extra virgin olive oil of its own production. The "Ocio Giulivo" restaurant is located on the farm and can be contacted directly for reservations. The property is on the second floor of an old fortress, with no elevator, and offers a breathtaking view of the surroundings. Perfect for those looking for an authentic experience away from modernity. The space We are immersed in the Tuscan countryside, with breathtaking views of the valley and a village within walking distance. The property is an ancient 15th-century fortress, transformed into a villa in the 18th century, with unique architecture that offers an authentic and historical experience. It is not a modern hotel; here you experience a leap into the past, while having modern comforts. The 220-hectare farm is still productive and offers excellent wines and extra virgin olive oil, which can be tasted on the farm or in our Ocio Giulivo agrosteria, open from Wednesday to Saturday for dinner only. A small bistro/wine bar will open shortly. The rooms are located in the main villa or in the nearby cottages. There are no traditional hotel amenities, such as in-room TVs or air conditioning, but fans are available. Wi-Fi works in the common areas. The location is ideal for exploring the region: Siena is just a 10-minute drive or 25-minute bus ride away, Chianti is 15 minutes away, San Gimignano and Montalcino are 40 minutes away, and Florence is an hour away. The surrounding area is the wonderful and unexplored Val di Merse Senese and Montagnola Senese. For lovers of authenticity and history, this property offers a unique experience, far from modernity, with the possibility of enjoying a bio-lake/natural pool and breathtaking views. A typically Tuscan experience, on a farm that has been in our family for generations, open to welcome you. Guest access Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, ideal for preparing meals to their liking. Breakfast is included in the living room. Two cozy lounges are available for relaxation and a small terrace that offers a panoramic view of the surrounding valley. The large outdoor spaces invite you to take regenerating walks, while the bio-lake and the small swimming pool offer opportunities for leisure and relaxation. For wine lovers, there are two tasting rooms, as well as a bistro and a farmhouse for special events. Free wifi is available for all guests, ensuring a constant connection during their stay. During your stay We are available to give you all the information you need and we are always available by phone. There is no reception, but we are always available for anything. Other things to note The Fattoria di Cavaglioni is an authentic place and is a family-run farm, we are not a relais, a hotel or a luxury place. The rooms are on the second floor without an elevator; however, if requested in advance, two outbuildings are available on the ground floor with only one or two steps. We currently do not have accommodations with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The wifi works better in certain areas, less in others, due to the large spaces and wide walls.
