This is a unique, cosy, self contained, elevated POD set in a private garden, close to the water, overlooking Kinsale Harbour and town, in the jewel of Kinsale - Summercove. You can relax while watching the boats go by, take long coastal walks, go for a swim in the ocean, dine in the local award winning pub/restaurant (The Bulman), explore the 16th century fort (Charles Fort), take a stroll into town or an electric bike & head out exploring. Please note: Guest minimum age on our property is 14 The space The property has a large bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette with kettle, toaster and microwave. We supply a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, water, sugar, cereal, fresh bread, butter and preserves. If you like an alcoholic drink we run an "honour bar" with beers & wine which you can pay for on site or via Airbnb on departure. The POD is A1+ rated, so super cosy, with the added advantage of a constant supply of fresh sea air via the POD ventilation system and all the energy used by the POD is supplied by Electric Ireland 100% Green electric plan. We don't compromise on your comfort so during your stay you'll be sleeping on the, Irish Made, amazing EMMA-MATTRESS which we think you'll find sooooo comfortable, as do our past guests in their reviews. All our soft furnishing are also Irish Made and sourced locally from Granny's Bottom Drawer, a unique shop in the heart of Kinsale and definitely worth a visit during your stay. You enter the property via the garden entrance at the side of the main house and walk up the outside stairs to access the POD. Parking is off site and communal. If you're in Kinsale for a night or more, it's the place to base yourself. Electric bikes are on an external rental, and can be in place at the POD for your arrival once ordered in advance via Wild Atlantic Sports. Electric bikes are a wonderful way to go exploring this fabulous area of Ireland. "I just wish we'd booked to stay longer", is the number 1 comment we get in our visitors book, so please bear this in mind if booking in with us, as Kinsale needs to be savoured and not rushed.
