This country house, 30 minutes from Auch and Marciac, is everything you'd expect from an 18th century farmhouse renovated in a contemporary way. Modern volumes cleverly articulated in a custom-renovated old building, improbable traffic tricks, games of lines and perspectives... For 10/12 people, it offers a swimming pool with views of the Gascon valleys, private padel court, petanque, ping-pong table, kitchen with indoor grills and several shaded dining areas. The space Away from the crowds, come and recharge your batteries in this carefully decorated country house. With an area of 340 m2, it includes a large central living room on the ground floor, with a large kitchen open to the dining room, and a comfortable lounge area separated by the fireplace dressed in raw steel. This living space, open to the outside on both sides of the house, provides access to a shaded terrace facing east to admire the sunrise at breakfast facing the pool; and a covered dining area to the west to end the day with dinner in the setting sun. The "full black" kitchen with central island, is also equipped with a fireplace at worktop height for indoor grilling performed with mastery. The bedrooms are all upstairs. The one in the main house has been cleverly transformed by the owner-architect who wanted to keep the entire exposed framework, while offering several spaces of privacy for the inhabitants. As a result: -2 double bedrooms nestled in soundproof white cubes and a private alcove at the back with another double bed and stunning views of the Pic du Midi on clear days. This night space shares a bathroom with shower and toilet. -The other part of the floor accommodates a large master suite with 2 separate double bedrooms and a bathroom with bathtub, -as well as a last double bedroom with private access to a bathroom with bathtub, shower and toilet. The old dovecote, near the pool, hosts a bedroom upstairs, as charming as it is special (not accessible to children under 12). It's called the owl room. For 2 people with direct access to the pool and the shaded games mezzanine, open to the outside and overlooking the countryside. This room has a sink, but no toilet or bathroom, which are all in the main house. Outside, a private plot of 2.9 ha, maintained and free from any nuisance, the view is almost 360°, showing the Gascon valleys and the Pyrenees. A private pool (4 m x 12 m – depth from 1.2 to 1.8 m), unsupervised, with alarm, sun loungers and parasols, is available. As well as a petanque court, a ping-pong table and a real private padel court, not lit at night, (rackets and balls included) with hard (asphalt) surface.
