Casa Palmera Canaria, formerly Finca Sambal, Pool

The Casa Palmera Canaria is a mansion for up to 5 people and a dream over 150 m² with every comfort, whirlpool, tub, infrared sauna, only the pool you have to share. Everything is lovingly designed and furnished with modern and traditional furniture. From the roof you have a 360° view of the mountains, sea and stars. The surroundings are quiet and rural, yet all services can be reached in a short time and partly on foot. The space This villa was newly acquired by us at the beginning of March 2023 and is now being newly furnished and painted. The garden and patio are embellished with flowering plants. Therefore, the photos will be gradually replaced in the next few weeks. The large Canarian date palm in front of the front door is the namesake. The villa is part of a historic finca with another house with 2 apartments with which it shares the large pool. It features spacious rooms, a large balcony, a private patio and two conservatories and has plenty of peace and privacy to enjoy the fantastic sea and mountain views. The rooms are very spacious and classically/modernly furnished. There is nothing missing in terms of comfort. Both bedrooms have double beds of at least 180 cm width. The surroundings are rural with several beautiful old houses. Nevertheless, supermarket, gas station, doctors, therapists, banks, restaurants, cafes and bars can be reached quickly and partly on foot. Hiking trails, beaches and the beautiful island capital of St. Cruz can be reached in less than 30 minutes by rental car. For the few cooler winter days there is a gas central heating (chargeable, according to the amount of gas consumed), underfloor heating and rung heating in the bathroom and a sauna. For hot days, two mobile air conditioners and fans can be used. Note for animal allergy sufferers and phobics: Since the house is located in a rural environment, insects and spiders may enter the house. On the other hand, a pest controller is hired if necessary. Several cats, geckos, birds and moths occasionally roam through the house. Guest access The pool is shared by all three units. The infrared sauna is only for the guests in Casa Palmera Canaria. Other things to note The Finca-Sambal is centrally located on the sunny west side of the island, we have the impressive mountain scenery of Cumbre in the back and the Aridane valley spreads out in front of us. A 10-minute walk from the center of El Paso up to the idyllic outskirts, the Finca-Sambal is located in a quiet residential street. The small holiday complex consists of two houses, the old colonial house in a secluded location and the newer built house with mango and papaya further back in the property. The property is partly natural and partly subtropical. All houses open to the secluded west side, with wide views of the Aridane Valley and the sea and at the foot lies El Paso. The main terraces, the conservatories and the common large pool area are located there. From the front door you can walk or bike directly (e.g. on the Bejenado), there is a marked hiking trail or you can simply stroll past lovingly maintained Canarian houses, find meadows with horses and goats and the wooded slopes of the Cumbre. Here La Palma is still originally rural, far from any hustle and bustle and a little like in another time...... El Paso is a place where tradition is still maintained, people like to celebrate and the old men sit in front of the bar. There you should stop for a cafe or a "copa de vino" and indulge in the tranquil hustle and bustle. There is also everything you need here, supermarkets, farmers' market, many small shops, a German bakery, organic shops, magazines and even more bars, also excellent restaurants such as the Perla Negra. Note for animal allergy sufferers and phobics: Since the house is located in a rural environment, it happens that the cats of the neighbors patrol the garden and like to see what's going on in the house with the doors and windows open. Birds and moths have also done this. However, no animal has lived permanently in the house so far. It is about 30 minutes to the capital Santa Cruz and the airport. To the secret capital of the west side, Los Llanos, about 10 minutes and to the beaches 15 to 20 minutes. The highway connecting east and west passes El Paso, and the upper romantic road leading south begins below.
