Casa Palmera Canaria, formerly Finca Sambal, Pool

Casa Palmera Canaria is a mansion for up to 5 people and a dream at over 150 m² with every comfort, a whirlpool tub, and an infrared sauna. You only have to share the pool. Everything is lovingly designed and furnished with modern and traditional furniture. From the roof you have a 360° view of mountains, sea and stars. The surroundings are quiet and rural, yet all services can be reached in a short time and partly on foot. The space We newly acquired this villa in early March 2023, and it has been newly furnished and painted. The garden and patio were decorated with flowering plants. The large Canarian date palm in front of the front door is the namesake. The villa is part of a historic finca with another house with 2 apartments, with which it shares the large pool. It features spacious rooms, a large balcony, a private patio and two conservatories and has plenty of peace and privacy to enjoy the fantastic sea and mountain views. The rooms are very spacious and classically/modernly furnished. There is nothing missing in terms of comfort. Both bedrooms have double beds at least 180 cm wide. The neighborhood is rural with several beautiful old houses. Nevertheless, supermarket, gas station, doctors, therapists, pharmacies, banks, restaurants, cafes and bars can be reached quickly and partly on foot. Hiking trails, beaches and the beautiful island capital of St. Cruz can be reached in less than 30 minutes by rental car. For the few cooler winter days, there is a gas central heating (for a fee, according to the amount of gas used), underfloor heating and radiator heating in the bathroom and a sauna. For hot days, two mobile air conditioning units and fans can be used. Note for animal allergy sufferers and phobics: Since the house is located in a rural environment, it happens that insects and spiders invade the house. On the other hand, an exterminator is hired if needed. Also, occasionally several cats, geckos, birds, and moths roam the house. Guest access The pool is shared by all three units. The infrared sauna is only for the guests in Casa Palmera Canaria. Other things to note The Finca-Sambal is centrally located on the sunny west side of the island, we have the impressive mountain backdrop of the cumbre and the Aridan Valley spreads out in front of us. A 10-minute walk from the center of El Paso into the idyllic outskirts, Finca-Sambal is located in a quiet neighboring street. The small holiday complex consists of two houses, the old colonial house in a secluded location and the newer built house with mango and papaya further back in the property. The property is partly natural and subtropical on the other hand. All houses open to the secluded west side, with wide views of the Aridanetal and the sea and at your feet is El Paso. The main terraces, the winter gardens and the shared large pool area are located there. From the front door you can start directly running or biking (e.g. to the Bejenado), there is a advertised hiking trail or you just stroll, past lovingly maintained Canarian houses, find meadows with horses and goats and the forested slopes of the cumbre. Here La Palma is still originally rural, away from any hustle and a little like in another time...... El Paso is a place where tradition is still maintained, you like to celebrate parties and the old men sit in front of the bar. There you should stop at a cafe or a "copa de vino" and indulge in the tranquil hustle and bustle. There is also everything you need here: supermarkets, a farmers market, lots of small shops, a German bakery, health food stores, magazines and even more bars, as well as excellent restaurants like Bar Central. Note for animal allergy sufferers and phobics: Since the house is located in a rural environment, it happens that the neighbors' cats patrol through the garden and like to see the "right" in the house when the doors and windows are open. Birds and moths have already done so. It is about a 30-minute drive to the capital Santa Cruz and the airport. To the secret capital of the west side, Los Llanos, about 10 minutes and to the beaches 15 to 20 minutes. The country road that connects east and west passes by El Paso, and the upper romantic road that leads south also begins below. You could say that El Paso is something like the navel of the island, but on the west side.
