Cosy, hideaway, romantic 250 year old refurbished cottage in the pretty hamlet of Trelights near Port Isaac. Authentic features. Small sun trap of a garden to watch village life go by. Fully equipped and ideal for couples or families. Close to the surfing beach of Polzeath and family beaches of Daymer Bay and Rock. Close to the coastal path and local attractions. Complementary therapies also available. Small well behaved dogs welcome, please ask. The space The cottage is cosy but has all you need for a perfect getaway/holiday. Open plan living/dining room and kitchen, hall, porch, two good sized bedrooms, one with double bed and the other truckle bed so room can be made up for one or two, and bathroom makes this a very comfortable and well equipped cottage. Guest access All areas. Other things to note The wood burner is currently out of action. The second bedroom has truckle beds so can be made from a single room into two beds which means they are close together. The cottage is therefore ideally suited to a family with 1 or 2 children or 3 adults. We have great wifi connection but as in a lot of places in Cornwall, limited mobile signal in the house. There is a phone with free weekend calls but only incoming calls during the week. Plenty of good mobile signal near area. We do take small, (due to size of cottage) well behaved dogs but charge a small cleaning fee of £15. We ask that they are not allowed on beds or left alone in the cottage. Pet sitting can be arranged. If you are tall, please note that the downstairs ceilings are low beamed as in old cottages. Upstairs is fine. Please note we are located in a hamlet outside of Port Isaac but Port Isaac is walkable (downhill) and takes about 25 minutes but well worth the walk to see this quaint fishing village famous for Doc Martin and Fishermen’s Friends. Aromatherapy and other therapies available either in cottage or in therapy room in our house next door.
