Our Finnish cabin Matilda II is a real piece of history – a relic from the 1970s of the GDR. We preserve its original charm so that you can experience the special flair of this time up close. The cottage offers you a spacious living area, a small kitchen and a bathroom. In the living room, a sofa bed for two people provides cozy nights. The space Matilda II – Nostalgia meets modern comfort Our cozy Finnish hut Matilda II (about 45 m²) is located on a beautiful 1,000 m² property and offers you a quiet time out in the middle of nature. The cottage has a spacious living and dining area, a small but well-equipped kitchen and a modernized bathroom. It is ideal for two people – in the living room, a comfortable sofa bed ensures cozy nights. Modern amenities for every season Whether summer or winter – Matilda II is pleasantly habitable all year round. Thanks to underfloor heating in the bathroom and kitchen, infrared heating and a cast-iron fireplace, you can enjoy a cozy atmosphere even on cooler days. Firewood can be purchased cheaply on site. Charm of the 70s with modern comfort The Matilda II is a nostalgic relic from the 1970s of the GDR, whose original character has been lovingly preserved. In addition to a new bathroom, we have integrated modern kitchen appliances, some farm furniture and an IKEA double sofa bed. There is also a TV and DVD player. Relax outside & enjoy nature In front of the Finnish cabin, an open terrace invites you to grill and relax. In addition, a 20 m² covered terrace belongs to the house – a perfect place to enjoy the patter of raindrops on the roof with a glass of wine. The rental property also includes: ✔ Barbecue ✔ Two seating groups for outdoors ✔ Ample parking space Additional services Bed linen & towels can be booked for € 15 per person. Small boats are available for our guests to rent. If you are looking for a vacation away from large holiday parks, you will feel completely comfortable here.
