The village is near to “Akamas” National Park, and Baths of “Aphrodite”. it is in an idyllic green environment in the arms of tall mountain peaks and it overlooks the view of “Chrysochous” Bay. “Kritou Terra” is 9km from Paphos town. There are many attractions in “Kritou Terra”. Some of them are “Kefalovryso”, the ancient casino, and the washing holes. Additionally, the village has numerous old buildings which some of them are “St. Aikaterinis” church, “St. Epifanios” church, “St. George” church, “St Irinis” church. “Kritou Terra” is also synonymous with the Environmental Study Centre (ESC), an NGO house in the old village school which aims to educate children on environmental issues.
