Lovingly furnished cottage

Welcome to the German Tuscany in our family vacation home! Our region has plenty to offer – whether it's hiking, biking, shopping, or city tours! The house is furnished to allow families with (and without) children to have a good time. Cycling and hiking trails are right around the corner. Dexheim itself has a lot to offer (culture in the park, history, the town hall garden, and more), but so do Oppenheim, Nierstein, Worms, Mainz, and Heidelberg – it's just beautiful here! We do NOT rent to fitters. The space The house is in historic Dexheim. On the ground floor, there is a kitchen with a dishwasher, Airfryer, and microwave, as well as a dining room, living room, and bathroom. The couch in the living room can be used as a sofa bed if necessary. Please let us know so we can provide bed linen. Upstairs, there are 2 bedrooms – one with a large double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) and one with a smaller double bed (1.60 x 2.00 m). A small baby crib can also be provided here if needed! All rooms upstairs are walk-through rooms! The conservatory and balcony are also on the upper floor. Guest access The house is fully available to our guests. Check-in is via a key box at the front door. Your hosts live in the neighboring house and will be happy to help if needed. Material about the area - events, sightseeing suggestions, hiking maps and cycling maps are available in the house. Other things to note - For loading and unloading, you can park right in front of the house. For long-term parking, we recommend the free parking spaces on Dalheimer Straße and Bahnstraße, right around the corner. - The refrigerator in the kitchen has NO freezer compartment - we are happy to offer you an option outside the house for frozen goods - just let us know! - You are welcome to use the washing machine. It has a small leak on the door, but this does not affect the washing performance. Just wipe away the small amount of water that leaks out with a towel. - The Internet in the house is provided via a router. Dexheim is not yet connected to fiber optic. The Internet is usable. But perhaps not as strongly as guests from urban areas are familiar with it. For our American guests good to know that grocery stores in Germany are closed on a Sunday. If you arrive on a Saturday late, please let us know if you want us to buy something for you - you'll find bottled water, tea and coffee in our house. Let us know if you need anything else.
