Sawmill Eschachthal Apt. Eisenbach

The house was originally an oil mill, later a sawmill before it sank into a slumber for the last few decades. In 2018, the core renovation and conversion to a residential building took place. Fortunately, the character of the old sawmill was preserved, especially by the refurbished exposed beams. The house is located at an altitude of 900 m, so the climate is a bit rougher, but still very sunny in summer. The location on the Eschach is special, which invites you to swim in the summer. The space The apartment "Eisenbach" is located on the first floor of the sawmill and can be reached via a wooden staircase. It faces south and west. The apartment consists of a spacious eat-in kitchen, a living room and a gallery on which the double bed is located. Stepping safety for the stairs to the gallery is required. In the garden there is a seating area for guests of the apartment. Guest access The apartment is accessible via a separate apartment entrance. Other things to note In winter, the area is extremely snowy. Outdoor activities such as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and also alpine skiing are very possible, e.g. Schwärzenlifte with ski school in neighboring Eschach, Kreuzthaler Skilift Gohersberg, cross-country ski trails in Winterstetten and Buchenberg. In summer, the Eschach Valley and its surroundings are ideal for hiking (Schwarzer Grat can be reached in 1 hour on foot), mountain biking, swimming in the Eschacher pond or the "Hausgumpen" directly in front of the sawmill. In the village there is a small shop with regional products and a small outdoor pool with a kiosk.
