Traditional Pembrokeshire cottage in St Ishmaels

Close to Skomer Island and the beautiful golden beaches of South Pembrokeshire, Penlan is in the lovely and quiet village of St Ishmaels. With views down into the village, in walking distance from the the coastal path, Monk Haven beach and church. Escape from busy life with a quiet break at Penlan, away from the noise and stress of home and work. We have everything you need for a relaxing stay. Light a fire in the log burner, watch Netflix or listen to music, put your feet up and relax. The space Downstairs we have an open plan kitchen/ diner, separate lounge, hallway and family bathroom. Also access to front and back gardens. Upstairs are two large double bedrooms, with wardrobes and chest of drawers and a small bunk bed third bedroom. We have a travel cot, highchair and lightweight buggy for guests to use, it’s a very family friendly home Penlan is a very old cottage and therefore we ask that you don’t expect it to be in perfect 'ideal home' condition! There will be signs of wear and tear, and during some months of the year patches of damp. The house is lime plastered in the traditional method, this allows the house to “breathe” as best it can! We use Penlan for our holidays so we do leave some of our personal items at the house- walking boots, coats, buckets and spades.
