Downtown Mill Valley, with a movie theater, shops and restaurants, is a 5 minute drive or a beautiful 15 minute walk. Sausalito and San Francisco are respectively 15 and 30 minutes away. Sonoma and Napa Valley (wine country) are one hour north, and the beaches are a only a 30 minute drive. There are various fitness centers and yoga studios in Mill Valley as well as a golf course and tennis courts. For stays of 30 days or longer there is NO TAX, however we require one cleaning mid-stay paid for by renter.
