Absolutely no parties or loud noise please. We are located in a quiet family neighborhood. Still interested? A family heritage home from 1896. We are in the heart of The Byward Market near 100's of restaurants, boutiques & grocery. A short walk to the famous Rideau Canal. Easy access to miles of cycling & walking trails within the city. A quick drive to Gatineau Park with more hiking & cycling trails coupled with amazing views. Parliament & National Art Gallery of Canada are close by too. The space With being centrally located you get easy and quick access to many of the attractions Ottawa has to offer. Our home is your home! You will have full access to the home except for a few private spaces (den/office and personal bedroom). At times we may need to access our home but will only do so after providing guests advance notice. We always keep your privacy in mind. PARKING ~ With restrictions, FREE parking is available on the street outside our home. However, please keep in mind parking rules can and do change. We highly recommend you make yourself familiar with the City of Ottawa parking regulations and restrictions prior to your arrival. An easy internet search "City of Ottawa parking rules and regulations" will provide you with the most current information. LOT PARKING ~ There is a public parking lot within a couple blocks from our home (near the intersection of Dalhousie St & Guigues Ave). The current cost to park is $12 per day or $8 overnight. Again, these amounts can and do change with seasons and time and may be different than noted here. Keep in mind being in the Byward Market there are many options for parking - metered, covered and open parking. Simply do a search on your phone's map app and search PARKING NEARBY. Please know our home is located in a quiet neighbourhood where noise bylaws are highly monitored. Absolutely no parties or excessive noise is allowed in the home or around the property.
