Private entrance, mountain views, close to town!

Sunny, private second floor suite in an 1848 farmhouse with spectacular views overlooking Camel's Hump and the Green Mountains. Just a 5 minute drive downhill to Montpelier's charming downtown. This is a kid-friendly place! We have outdoor play structures, a pack-and-play, and a baby gate for the stairs, books, crayons, among other things. We are dog-friendly, but dogs have to be on-leash while on the property and if they're left alone in the suite they need to be crated. Come visit! The space We have converted a portion of this stately house into its own private guest suite with a separate entrance. The suite consists of the following, as you walk through it from one room to the next: living room + kitchen (open layout) => a middle room (with a full-sized bed) => a bedroom (with a queen bed) => and a bathroom. Guest access We have some of the best views in town, so feel free to set up a picnic blanket anywhere on the property or just walk around too. Wi-fi throughout. The kitchen is stocked with coffee and tea, and some light snacks. You'll find clean sheets and towels laid out--and if you need anything, we're right there and happy to make sure you're well taken care of. There's also a washer and dryer downstairs in the common laundry area that you're welcome to use. Other things to note The apartment is its own heat zone, so feel free to adjust the thermostat to whatever makes you comfortable! :) The TV is set up with streaming subscriptions to Netflix and Amazon Prime Video (including Showtime and Cinemax). However we do not have cable TV. Happy to provide a window A/C unit upon request, if needed. We don't allow cats in the apartment. We may add an additional cleaning fee for multiple pets.
