Priston (nr Bath) - double room/private bath

A cosy double room in an attractive period property in the heart of the rural village of Priston, only 5 miles from Bath. The bed has a big feather duvet, while the room has a wardrobe, tea/coffee-making facilities and a view down through the village. Guests have access to an adjacent private bath/shower room. Perfect for tourists, walkers and guests at Priston Mill weddings. Continental breakfast included. The village also has a lovely pub with excellent food. FLEXIBLE CHECK-IN ON REQUEST. The space The property underwent an extensive rennovation in the mid 2010s. The main part of the house was built in 1754 and was a pub from 1874 until 1966 - the original pub sign is on display in our entrance hall. Walkers will welcome the opportunity to dry their walking gear next to our AGA overnight. High speed WiFi available. Off street parking available for our guests. Guest access The kitchen is not available for use but a sit-down continental breakfast is provided up until 9.15am- this might be a ‘take-away’ if mid-week. During your stay You will be staying in a family home where the children are starting to fly the nest! Other things to note While we have high speed Wifi, mobile reception can be patchy. O2 works the best! The whole of our street has the same postcode so beware with the SatNav! Look for the white front door and slate house name plaque. Ideal if you are attending a wedding reception or event at Priston Mill - just 3mins minutes drive or 15mins walk out of the village. Flexible check-in available for wedding guests.
