We hope you enjoy this experience as much as we do! *MINIMUM 2 DAYS The space Welcome to the WATER MILL of "Quinta da Bouça - Fruta Bio"!* We have lovingly and passionately rehabilitated an abandoned water mill, at the mercy of degradation, and transformed it into a UNIQUE EXPERIENCE. Integrated in the BOURO RIVER, start the trip through the WEIR bathing in the calm water, great for playing with children. The MILL is like a "Shelter", wrapped in wood. Only for use in summer, thermal insulation is basic, due to the wood. With ventilation cracks, ceramic tile cover, it does not dispense with a good warm blanket for the night. It has a mezzanine with a double bed and a mosquito net. Sleeping there is only for the bravest, who are used to "sleeping on the water." The water is low-flowing, but if you are sensitive to sleep, it is preferable to go to the Open Field available for tents. BATHING can be done in an outdoor system, with a gravity water reservoir connected to the stream, similar to a portable camping shower. There is a TERRACE to make your lunch in the ECO structure, or solar oven, forged metal tables and chairs, and a portable, old-fashioned washbasin. A hammock. The OPEN FIELD is available for camping, on a more generous terrain, with access through a wooden bridge designed for this purpose. It has the "DRY" SUPPORT MODULE, off-grid, with kitchen, "dry" toilet, with concepts to respect the environment. A good way to teach children other types of domestic use. The STREAM surrounds both spaces and is accessed by wooden stairs, allowing you to enjoy leisure, bathing, and even lunch with "your feet in the water or in the sand" ;) We can control the inflow of water through the dam gates, to drain or fill the Ribeiro. Guest access To the west, access by local road, over the stone wall. To the East, access by local road, going down the stairs to the Mill terrace. The Open Field is accessible by the wooden bridge. Other things to note Don't be fooled. This Mill experience is for true nature lovers, like a mountain shelter, essential, but nevertheless subject to the ambient climate. You should come as if you were "camping". You can choose between tents and the exclusive mill experience. We believe it is also a unique way to pass on other knowledge to your children.
