Located on Cayuga Lake, a half mile south of Taughannock State Park and seven miles from the Ithaca city limits. Guests can drive down to lake level to enjoy this extraordinary property nestled between a tall cliff and 450' of lake frontage. The house features a large enclosed veranda and a spectacular second story living room with a panoramic view of Cayuga Lake. Four bedrooms and four full baths. Fully equipped kitchen. Your own pool. Limited wheelchair accessibility. Eight guests maximum. The space Kayaks, canoe, two shale beaches, boat slip, concrete dock, exclusive use of in-ground pool, sizable level lawn, swing, and hammock. Guest access Guests can access the entire house and the small cabin. This is not a shared space. Wheelchair access to first floor of house (Veranda, entrance hall, kitchen, den, bedroom with two twin beds, bathroom with roll-in shower.) Ask about limitations regarding accessibility. Other things to note House is located at the bottom of the driveway that it shares with another house. There is a generously sized parking lot. Room air conditioners in two second floor bedrooms and kitchen/den area. Larger A/C unit in second floor living room which serves the upstairs common area and first floor entrance hall. Two bedrooms without dedicated air conditioners open onto air conditioned spaces. The pool is not heated. The cabin has a full bathroom, futon couch, chairs and sitting area, and is handy for changing clothes for swimming. When the water is warmer and there is the risk of algae bloom, the water always comes from a 200" drilled well. The water is filtered, treated with chlorine and then passes through a UV sterilizer. In cool weather, the water may come from beach well after passing through UV sterilizer and filter. The lake may have harmful Algae blooms (HABS) during portions of the summer and early fall. These may present health dangers to swimmers and to pets drinking lake water. The swimming pool is not affected by algae blooms and is always safe for swimming. Flagrant violation of rules will result in cancellation of your reservation and immediate ejection from the premises. This includes showing up with more guests than allowed, dangerous behavior and actions that risk damage to the property.
