One bed converted barn in Shropshire

Gorgeous one bedroom barn, beautifully converted and furnished to a high standard. The barn is on a farm in a pocket of glorious Shropshire countryside with it's own entrance and keysafe. The UNESCO World Heritage site at Ironbridge is only 3 miles away, we are close to Weston Park, the Royal Air Force Museum, Cosford as well as being only 3 miles from Telford. The space The Powerhouse is ideally suited for 1 or 2 guests. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine and small dishwasher. The property is heated with a ground source pump, there is under floor heating downstairs, the barn is highly insulated and thoughtfully designed with some original features. There are two levels separated by a spiral staircase and a small space outside with table and chairs which is West facing so you can enjoy the evening sun. There is a sofa bed to accommodate children if required and a travel cot. There is an extra fee for bedlinen so please if you need it. Adults are welcome to sleep on the sofa bed but it has quite a thin mattress. Guest access The barn is situated on a scruffy farm with three other families living there. Your have your own entrance and your own parking area. You can walk straight out of the farm across fields without getting into your car. Other things to note This is a working farm, so there is machinery, bricks etc about and it is a very scruffy. We run a market garden and kitchen which is busy and so the yard often looks cluttered and untidy. This is not your view though but you will have to drive through it to get to the back of the barn where you can park. The interior is delightful but if it is important that the exterior is too, then this may not be for you. The spiral staircase means large suitcases are not ideal. There is room and Jonathan will carry them if he is here but it is awkward getting them up. We do occasionally have dogs to stay. If you want to bring your dog please let us know as there is an additional fee to cover the extra cleaning. Dogs are welcome, as long as they are happy to stay downstairs. We will put up a stair gate and can provide a bowl and extra blankets if you need. We ask that they are not left alone in the Powerhouse
