Guest access At a glance A beautiful 3 bedroom Grade II listed country cottage, located 30 minutes drive from the historic city of Chester and the market towns of Whitchurch and Wrexham. Rooms description 2 outside steps to the main entrance. Ground floor Living room with smart TV and a wood burner for which we offer wood and smokeless fuel for a small fee. Kitchen diner with electric oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer with a cold water dispenser, dishwasher and washer/dryer, dining table and chairs. Bathroom with whirlpool bath, walk-in shower and WC. First Floor Staircase leading to: Landing area with single day bed and access to bedrooms 1 & 2. Bedroom 1 with king size bed, cot bed, sofa and free view TV. Bedroom 2 with king size bed. Bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Second staircase leading to: Bedroom 3 with king size bed, Z bed, cot bed, sofa and free view TV. Heating comes on 6:00-9:00 am and 4:30-22:00 pm. Extra £10 per day all day heating. You are surrounded by unspoilt farmland. There are excellent pubs, restaurants, village shops and playgrounds for the kids. The immediate area is very popular with cyclists and walking in the nearby Bickerton hills. The owners live in a separate property on the grounds and can provide home made bread, preserves and cakes, we press our own apple juice and cider. The Fast EV charger and. House Rules -We request every guest provides us with their home address email and phone number. If any damage occurs during your stay, you are liable for this. Check in times are between 3:00pm and 10:00 am and we aim to be here to welcome you. Check out is by 10.00am on your departure day. Please remove outdoor footwear before entering the house, no outdoor shoes to be worn inside. No smoking (including e-cigarettes) is permitted in the house , the grounds and the street. No candles permitted in the house. This is a quiet area, please keep noise levels to a minimum at all times. No house keeping during your stay. Guess cleans if there is anything after the house key was given. We inspect the property as you arrive with you. Please leave the house as you find it, there is a dustpan & brush, anti-bacterial cleaning spray, cloths and washing up liquid for your use. Disposable barbecues are not permitted, we can provide a gas barbecue. Please notify us of any damage or breakages as soon as possible. We understand that accidents can happen. Please close and lock your doors and windows when you are leaving. Teenagers under the age of 19 years old are NOT BE LEFT IN THE HOUSE BY THEMSELVES. Please ensure taps are not left running and that the TV, lights and oven are turned off when you are going out. Guests are asked not to invite visitors during your stay with us. However, we would accept daytime visitors limited to two per day at a rate of £20 per person per day. We would prefer that you booked them in advance. Please take the towels, bed covers and dirty items to downstairs to be washed. Please place the rubbish in the bins on Scar lane. Personal property is your responsibility and we will not be liable for any belongings lost or damaged during your stay, or for any personal injury. We reserve the right to enter the house at any reasonable hour to carry out any urgent repairs. Please be aware this is our legal right as we don’t have a formal short hold tenancy with you.
