Quiet, small- town getaway in historic hotel. Hardwood floors, high ceilings, and some exposed brick make this room a “favorite” for anniversaries, honeymoons, or romantic trysts. Located between Memphis & Nashville, this 1939, 12-room Hotel was restored by a couple originally from Rhode Island. Original architectural details were saved while adding modern amenities like WiFi & DirecTV (and necessities like bathrooms & air conditioning!). Classic furnishings. On- site restaurant (check dates). The space Guests love staying here when they want to escape the rat race or their everyday worries at home. EXTRA CLEAN - we follow enhanced cleaning & disinfecting protocols required by state health department. We are inspected regularly. In addition, our rooms often experience a few days' "rest" in between guests - especially weeknights. FRIENDLY faces are what we hear about most from our guests: friendly & helpful staff and locals. LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE - OK, we aren't doctors! Just speaking from experience! So often, we hear from friends, guests and family - that they can feel their blood pressure dropping as they drive the country roads to get to Linden. OUTDOOR SPACES available for guests only: 1.5 acre Riverside property 2 mins. from hotel; Covered foyer off hotel lobby; outdoor tables & chairs on extra-wide sidewalk area - great for people-watching in the evenings. We aim to please, so if you need to print or fax something, we can do that. Just ask and we will do our best to accommodate you. Other things to note Room is located on second floor, accessible only by stairs. Main entrance to building is thru Lobby, then up the stairs. Restaurant is closed for Dinner annually: mid- December to mid- February. Meals may be arranged with advance notice - just ask!
