Wooden chalet with a unique atmosphere, Grimentz

The chalet "La Gougra" was originally an old barn typical of Val d'Anniviers dating from 1747. It has been transformed into a chalet and have an incredible charm with its ancient timber logs and wooden roof. The cottage has 3 floors and two bedrooms. It can accommodate up to 6 people. It has all the qualities for a beautiful rustic and simple stay in the mountains. It is well located in a sunny location with wonderful views at the 4000m summits, walking distance from all the commodities. There is a nice terrace with a small garden in summer and two balconies. A ski room is available for the winter and summer sport equipment! Other things to note WINTER: The magnificent ski area of Grimentz - Zinal offers 48 slopes for all levels, approx. 115 km of slopes, 21 lifts. It located between 1'500 and 2'900 meters above sea level. SNOW GUARANTEE The high altitude and its exposure guarantee a snow from mid-November to April, 5 months of ski !!! Enjoy the region, the Grimentz-Zinal ski pass is also valid in the other ski resorts of St-Luc, Chandolin and Vercorin (220 km of slopes). Besides skiing many other activities are possible! There is a sledge slope, snowshoeing trails, hiking trails, cross-country skiing ( the slopes start 500 m from the chalet) and a beautiful natural ice rink in the heart of the old village! SPRING-SUMMER-AUTUMN: - From June to October, you will receive with your reservation 3 GUEST PASS ANNIVIERS LIBERTE giving free access to more than 20 activities (swimming pools, tennis, mini-golf ...) and free transport on local buses and other amenities. - 100 kilometers of scenic hiking trails - MTB trails and trails - Moiry Glacier - with its spectacular glacier tongue and Moiry hut with a magnificent view of the glacier. - The path of geraniums - more than 30 kinds of fragrant geraniums can be admired and felt along the way. - Via ferrata of Grimentz / Moiry with a length of 410m including the escape for a vertical drop of 230 m with its monkey bridge and its zipline.
