COUNTRYSIDE COTTAGE WITH VIEWS NEAR ST ANDREWS

Stunning rural cottage situated in a secluded and elevated position 15 mins drive from St Andrews with its world famous championship golf courses, university and beaches. The property enjoys remarkable panoramic views to the north, south and east, over rolling Fife countryside to the sea and on a clear day you can see beyond the River Tay to the Angus Hills. The house sits within enclosed garden grounds, surrounded by grazing land and beautiful private woodland extending to the hill behind. The space The house is around 1.5 miles from Balmullo, which is a lovely village with excellent corner shop and post office. As well as being ideally located for easy access to St Andrews, it is only 8 miles to Dundee and the new V&A museum. It offers excellent links to larger centres via the mainline railway station at Leuchars about 3 miles away. The majority of the space is laid out on one level with the master bedroom and dressing room found on the first floor. The working fireplace in the sitting room/snug and electric ever hot Range style cooker in the kitchen help to provide a cosy rural feel. The ground floor also includes a bathroom and second bedroom with bunk beds. The accommodation adjoins the owners property, but is completely self contained with it's own entrance/exit and use of the outside south facing seating area. Guest access Whole of a semi-detached cottage (owners living next door). Woodland and use of the outdoor seating and enclosed garden. Other things to note We have a Tassimo coffee machine. We provide a selection of T Discs, but if you have ones you particularly like please feel free to bring them with you. Bring wellies/walking boots for nearby walks. The road to our house is a little bumpy track, so please take your time. We offer discounts based on length of stay - weekly and monthly. The headline price is based on two people staying. The third and fourth guests will be an extra £10pp pn. It is a requirement of Airbnb for all guests to read and agree to all the host rules prior to a confirmed booking.
