The spacious home is bright and colourful with exposed beams, wooden and terracotta flooring and far reaching views Includes: 3 bedrooms (1 king, 2 double with option for 3 additional camp beds) Fully equipped kitchen, woodburner, music system, wifi, smart TV, garden, outdoor seating, firepit bbq The space Entwood Farm is situated in Harcombe which is a small hamlet 3 miles from the coastal fishing town of Lyme Regis and 3 miles from the market town of Axminster which is on the direct London Waterloo - Exeter tramline. The house is a beautiful glass fronted barn conversion. Downstairs you will find a huge open plan kitchen/diner with plenty of granite workspace, 2 sinks, a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, fan oven and induction hob. There will be plenty of room for you and your guests around the large farmhouse table. The downstairs living room with its double hight exposed beam apex ceiling is kept warm and cosy by the woodburner in the winter, and there are two leather sofas and comfy recliners with a smart TV and plenty of board games for you to enjoy. The glass fronted conservatory is an all day sun trap which links the kitchen to the living room is an ideal place to sit and read or just take in the view of the horses in the field below. Double doors lead out to a small balcony. You will find a large double bedroom with brass bed and ensuite downstairs, set just off to the side of the dining room, as well as a seperate single toilet. The handcrafted wooden staircase leads up to the kingsize bedroom with a sleigh bed, comfy armchairs and crystal chandelier. The final bedroom has a brass double bed and is fully equipped with plenty of soft toys for the children. We have 3 camp beds which can be put in the bedrooms of your choice. Additional guests are welcomed at an additional fee of £60 per person per night. You will find a family bathroom with full sized bath and an over head shower, perfect for relaxing in at the end of a long day. There is underfloor heating throughout the home. All of the beds are extremely comfortable with feather down duvets, plump feather pillows and crisp white laundered sheets and towels. We like to use eco friendly cleaning products which you will find in each bathroom and the kitchen. Outside there is a mature bamboo and flower garden surrounded by ancient oak trees, as well as a large lawned area with table and chairs, a BBQ for alfresco dining and a fire pit for gathering around, perfect for star gazing and listening to the resident owls. There is a shallow wildlife pond so children will need to be supervised. There is plenty of parking on the premises, as well as a double garage. Entwood Farm is our family home and you will find plenty of trinkets and interesting books, artefacts and ornaments. We are of course more than happy for you to meet our friendly animals at feeding times and pre arranged times to suit us all . We are at present preparing details for our upcoming pony experiences with air B and B so you may actually get the chance to groom and say hello to the ponies whilst you enjoy your stay with us ! Watch this space! Guest access You will have access to the entire house and the three bedrooms. There is a fourth bedroom upstairs which we keep our personal items in and it is kept locked and is unavailable to book. Access to the land with the animals is by arrangement. Other things to note A complimentary Devon Cream Tea for 6 or A Local Cheese and Biscuit Board will be provided on arrival for guests staying a minimum of 3 nights . Do advise us on your preference when you book . We are happy to provide this service to those staying less than 3 nights at a charge of £3 pp We provide logs for the wood burner and the fire pit at a charge of £10 for a large basket . We can sometimes do a late check out or early check in and we charge an extra £20 per hour if this is available and would need to be discussed prior to the day .
