Riverside House is a lovely 18C thatched cottage in an idyllic tranquil settings on the banks of the tidal River Dart. It is an ideal place to sit and watch the wildlife with lovely walks along the river, or sail and mudlark from the garden. We have a slipway and guests are welcome to bring their own kayaks, canoes and dinghies, or hire locally or possibly borrow from us. The ancient town of Totnes is 10 minutes away and Dittisham, Dartmouth, Salcombe and Dartmoor and splendid beaches close. The space Extraordinary location right on the tidal river Dart, with its own slipway. The house is a family home, lots of antiques and original paintings, quirky, warm, charming.
